Completely agree, I was happyish with the state of play yesterday, but made up now and very excited!

The problem they'll find, the public don't know that they will be more competent. And the more they U-turn and show no conviction in their ideas, the less and less people will believe that they can be competent

Tory's re-writing Labours election manifesto one attack at a time. They must be dying of laughter over at CCHQ. Starmer U-turns more than Theresa May did, and she was basically a spinning top by the end. Seriously, how are they falling into this trap again? Decade after decade. They're so determined to give the Tory's nothing to attack, there'll be nothing for the non-affiliated public to vote for come the election. If they think 'vote for us because we're not them' will be enough, they're sadly mistaken.

I completely agree with this. I tend to just do local gigs, up and coming bands for £10-£20, and see the bigger acts at festivals were there is more value for money. I also appreciate that I'm quite lucky living in Nottingham as we're generally always on the touring schedule for small-mid level bands.

What a crazy conclusion to draw! It's a shame about Spiritbox as I would have liked to see them at Download, but the only other crossover artist is Blink, who I can take or leave. Other than that there is nothing to compare. And as for the rest of the Reading announcement... I thought it was uninspiring and a little bit sh*t!

To a Scouser, 'jibbed' or 'jib it off' means to not do something, so if you ask one if they 'jibbed in' will probably result in a very confused look. Also, leave Scousers alone.

I think its been said before, but a couple of really wet festivals with lots of mud would probably massively help stop the growth in the number of people trying for tickets year on year.

That's the last two Thursdays and a Sunday without going past the holding page for 12 of us. Last try on Sunday, if no joy I'm knocking it on the head. It's a good festival, but it really isn't worth this level of frustration anymore. It's just become silly.
