Haha, most of them at about 1 in the morning as well. Yeah, I'm on GiffGaff through 02 and had no problems at all in 17.

That line up and Mac Demarco still doesn't make it. He must be gutted.

Did someone mention the killers?😁 Never usually bother with these type of things but I would more than likely (clashes aside) go to see this. Although, I could see this being wildly popular.

Bloody hell, lucky your hands are still working. We wouldn't want the killers to get off lightly.πŸ˜‰

Yeah, but the KOL aren't being talked about as headliners in 2019 so the comparison isn't really relevant. Or are you suggesting the KOL are in with a chance still? That would put the cat amongst the pigeons.😁

No snobbishness here mate, I don't mind the killers, I just don't feel they are a particularly strong headliner taking into consideration the other two (if correct). How would it of went down if they were headlining last year before they played that secret set? My guess is it would be a lot worse than now. So basically they are getting this gig primarily off the back of their performance as special guests at the last Glastonbury. If you add an act like Macca to any of the three mooted to headline it would look better but those three together look kind of weak to me.

Aye, a last choice if they decide to close the whole of the SE corner before the end of the headliners.😁 It's going to be really interesting who headlines the other big stages around the festival this year. If they are popular it could be record low numbers at the pyramid. Then again, perhaps, I'm totally misjudging it and talking shite and this set of headliners are far more popular than I'm giving them credit for.

I don't think it looks weak in the slightest tbh. Maybe in retrospect KOL but not at the time, no way. Not that it'll bother who's on when I get there, really but this years is not a patch on that. I'm not a massive hip hop fan but I'd suggest Jay Z seems a much bigger act than Stormzy. The Verve reforming was big at the time and the set I was looking most forward to seeing and the KOL who were massively popular at the time are better headliners than the killers or the cure imo. These look more like other stage headliners to me but as I say it won't matter when I get there and depending on what the clashes are there is a chance I could see a couple of them.

Two blokes to headline you say? Liam and Noel headlining on the Saturday nailed on.πŸ˜‰ If it does end up being Stormzy, the strokes and the cure it would look more like other stage headliners rather pyramid imo. In fact any two of them acts would be okay headliners if you had someone of the stature of Macca playing with them but surely not all three together (even though I'll probably see two of them).

    2019 Headliners

I agree, very good year imo. If what people are saying about this year is true it could be mistaking for the other stage line up rather than the Pyramid stage. Although, I'll happily see the strokes as I've never seen them before and I'll more than likely see the cure for the same reason.

Not even close imo. JayZ, The Verve are undoubtedly headline acts and the kings of leon were pretty much at their peak at the time. as I say imo no comparison.
  15. Ha ha. I was just going to say that. Couldn't remember if you'd left by then. Another level touring schools man😁. Especially an all lads school, it was never going to go well. My first tape/record was bad by Jacko when I was a real young'un, also remember wearing no knees jeans because of Bross lol. I didn't properly get in to music until I was about 10 or 11 though and then there were two ways to go, it was either Oasis and Britpop or rave and Techno T and that, So Britpop it was. My first gig was James at the Metro arena, they were supported by cast, who I loved and couldn't wait to see. It was a Thursday night so me and my two mates were at school the next day but that didn't stop us getting pissed on the way and missing most of cast lol. Starting a tradition of managing to miss many support bands over the years. As I got older and started going to Glasto I became far more open to giving anything a chance and I'll pretty much give anything a chance these days. Anyway, I thought you were meant to be ripping a carpet up not writing a section of your autobiography?😁
