  1. No surprise to see boygenius and related acts filling my top 5 this year.. they were definitely a highlight.. Madonna playlists on repeat in the run up to seeing her at the O2.. same with baby queen.
  2. One thing that’s occurred to me about that host file loophole is.. how would you know if the server you used was a production booking server and not a test or dev server? Could you end up buying tickets in a test environment? I guess not since that didn’t seem to happen in the main sale.

    2024 Headliners

I was just looking at tickets for Madonna’s return to London next week and wondering if if I could afford to see her twice (I can’t) because I loved the show so much… So the BST rumours and improving likelihood of a potential Glastonbury headline slot make me very happy.
  4. We got ours in the coach sale but got some for friends today when we got lucky and got a booking page.
  5. We had one of those in our group; she posted an image of her registration confirmation email and what we were entering was definitely right but coming up as invalid.. Weird.
  6. I’m in! 3 in our group got a booking page in the first 5 mins but two entered registrations and got stuck on the second holding page, one got through thankfully!
  7. We had this.. since when was there a second holding page? We were held on the add registrations URL.
  8. on a holding page after adding registrations? why!
  9. I’ve just got the holding page on that link.. it’s up and down atm while they’re testing the site.
  10. I used.. https://glastonbury.seetickets.com/event/glastonbury-2024-deposits/worthy-farm/3500011 it wasn’t up for long then went back to the event not found page.
  11. I just got the holding page 🙃
  12. I got into her via a recommendation from Courtney Love (who seems to be trying to encourage Bella to leave pop behind for heavier, more rocky directions). She writes very catchy tunes and is great fun live. Be interesting to see which direction she goes in..
  13. BabyQueen last night at the Leadmill. Hadn’t seen her before so didn’t know what to expect but was happily surprised to find a lot of her songs beefed up into chunky pop bangers by the live band.. some ballads just Bella playing piano by herself and some great new tracks. A couple of misses in the new stuff but mostly great. Everyone went wild for Want me and We can be anything at the end. Would definitely see her again, she’s good fun on stage (had a wardrobe malfunction and ended up changing outfit between songs and various other randomness).

    2024 Headliners Poll

Madonna and Gaga would be unmissable for me. (I missed gaga first time round and have massively regretted it ever since). I went to see Madonnas new tour and have been obsessed ever since..as Emily said, she’s back. Love a lot of Dua’s songs but haven’t been that bothered to see her live yet but would if she was headlining the pyramid. Depeche mode are on my list of bands I love but have yet to see so they’re up there too.. same for green day.
  15. Madonna last night at the O2. Definitely a return to form.. I was apprehensive about how she’d be post ICU / knee operations and given recent performances being decidedly dodgy.. but she put on a stunning show. The staging was impressive, costumes great, vocally on form.. there were a few obviously lip synced numbers (justify my love for one) and others with a backing track with her live vocals on top.. but many others she was fully live and sounding great. Definitely not bounding around the stage like a 20 year old anymore but still doing the choreo for songs like Don’t Tell Me which looked great. Set list had lots of hits, more ballads but you’d expect than given she can’t do wall to wall high energy dance routines anymore. They were some of the highlights though, like Live To Tell and bad girl which were beautifully done. It wasn’t a perfect show, the narrative and momentum got lost a little in the middle and some of the big hits were just chopped up with other things which made you wish she’d just done the whole song instead…but there were some really great iconic Madonna moments, epic staging and I’d love to see her do an adapted version for the pyramid.
  16. Is it definitely a legit email? Seems a little poorly thought through if it is real..
  17. Saw Dead Pony on Wednesday in Sheffield.. they were great, a very intimate show, the live space at Sidney and Matilda is about the size of my front room! Really enjoyed the support South Arcade too.
  18. We hired one half way through Camp Bestival this year out of desperation when one of our kids flat out refused to walk anymore on Saturday morning. We stayed at the back on the main stage and kept it out of the way at the smaller stages so hopefully we weren’t in anyone’s way. They slept in it while we watched the headliners on the Saturday night. And it made packing the car on Sunday a lot easier! I don’t think we’d buy one as generally I think they should be able to cope with walking around a smaller festival now.. but the experience at CB this year has confirmed for me that they are in no way ready for the distances involved at Glastonbury, so that’s off the cards for a few years yet.
  19. I don’t think I have a favourite stage, they all can be amazing if the right band is on. I love it when there’s someone I really want to see on the pyramid especially at dusk as it looks spectacular, not sure I’ve figured out where my favourite viewing spot is yet, was in the pit a few times this year and didn’t think the experience was as good as mid way back where you can see some of the crowd and appreciate the atmosphere more. Woodsies and park have more of my kind of music on and it’s easy to get to the front… I really enjoyed Years and Years and PSBs on the other stage last year which was a stage I didn’t have much love for previously.. depends on the weather maybe 🤔 on a wet year the other stage is depressing, on a hot year it seems like a better option even if it doesn’t have the amphitheater kind of layout that I love at the pyramid.
  20. I went to the Friday Sheffield gig, amazing fun.. Jarvis totally still has it and I loved the staging. I wish they could headline Glastonbury.. no idea how well their popularity has held up over the years, we still adore them in Sheffield though ❤️
  21. What did you do this year that you've never done before? Danced at San Remo Been in the Silver Hayes backstage bar Watched a friend play a set at Glastonbury Danced right under the spider What you have yet to cross off your Glastonbury to-do list? Get into Funkingham palace (definitely next year!) Actually make it into the Temple See a set I’m into at IICON
