  1. I do like to take a photo or two when at a gig, but that's just for my insta cause I do enjoy scrolling through my insta every so often and looking back on memories. I'll save it for when the lighting is good, or staging looks cool. Basicially I'll wait til I know I'm gonna get an ok pic, whip out the phone and take then the phone goes away again.

  2. This process does make me wonder if there is a better way for Glastonbury tickets to be sold...but I don't think there is.

Outwith going to a ballot, fastest finger first really is the fairest way for it.

  3. I think the album pre-sale going first seems like the fairest way for this type of thing.

You're more likely to be a "genuine" fan if you've pre-ordered the album (or did the no purchase necessary sign up) way back last year.

A lot of the folk (not all, I hasten to add) signed up for this upcoming sale would be people caught up in the hype and FOMO of it all and probably wouldn't have thought about going until it seemed like the latest hot ticket.

Kind of expected a bunch of additional dates to go out with the verified fan codes. Surely the dates announced so far aren’t going to be the end of it.

I was expecting more cause I feel like they sold A LOT during the Midnights sale.

My email said "Stay tuned, if you’re selected to move off the waitlist, you will receive an email and 2 SMS messages. The email and SMS messages will include a link to where you can purchase your tickets, and your unique access code".  I wonder how long they wait before calling people from the waitlist, like do they give everyone with an initial code say 24 hours to book, and then if still available after that time move to the waitlist...who knows.

Is that a Ticketmaster or AXS? My AXS one doesn't mention an SMS.

Is that how its worked in the abroad sales?

I'm not sure, just says on the waitlist email..."If you're sent a link you should join the sale as soon as possible for your best chance to get tickets."

My partner - who didn’t buy any tickets this week - has also been waitlisted for all three cities. #ThereIsNoPattern

Ah well, that confirms that then.

  8. Waitlist for Edinburgh. I wonder if they have done it so that if you got tickets in the Midnights presale you go onto waitlist.

Anyone who got tickets in the Midnights presale also got a code for this one?

  9. Yeah I've been to gigs before where they stated ID would be checked but it never has been. Not to say they won't do it this time.

The only time I had an issue getting in somewhere was when I went to see Biffy and your ticket was effectively the card you used to buy them. I had changed banks in between times so no longer had the card. Was sent to the Box Office and they sorted it.

Between me and my friend we are 0/4 at getting tickets now, had 3 different error codes and then the 4th time got through and it said no tickets available

Surely this luck has to balance out eventually

I'm sure it makes no difference, but I was using my phone and got through pretty quick.

  11. Well I had tickets, numpty me put in the wrong 3 digit security code for my card and it wouldn't let me change it, it kept defaulting back to the wrong one, then it said my access code was no longer valid 😞
