Far too un cool and out the loop these days on the electronic/dance scene. However I did go to see Layo & Bushwacka in Brighton last weekend and it was bloody great, all 4 hours of it. Lovestory still goes down a treat, a timeless classic.

    Glastonbury 2017 Awards

Best Act: Foo's Best Song: Grounds For Divorce Best Discovery: Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes (I think this one might win!!!) Most Frequented Stage: Saw an equal amount of acts on Pyramid and JP. Hours wise, Pyramid.

Monday morning sunrise on the hill, Glastonbury 2017

Could you kindly remind me of this in 720 days time?

Monday morning sunrise on the hill, Glastonbury 2017

Me too. The past 3 years I've had 'sunrise at stone circle' on my to do list, and each year I fail miserably. What usually happens is that I bail around 3am on the basis that by skipping a sleep, I'd be a write off the next day and I worry I'll miss out. I have made a promise with myself that in 2 years time (touches wood) it happens!!

I didn't know this :) I mean, the Other is big but doesn't look any bigger than the Pyramid to my eye (although I am 4 parts blind!!). Surprises me that.

    2017 - The Changes

Perhaps I missed them as the mud was covering them in 2016

    2017 - The Changes

Probably been mentioned but were the metal turnstile type things (without the actual turnstile) when passing under the 'Welcome to The South East Corner' sign a new addition? I assume they keep a track of numbers passing through....

    Shangri-La 2017

I think it depends on what you're after. My first Glasto in 2015, I was more than happy to do endless laps of Shangi-la checking out the strange going's on. However 2016, and more so this year, I ventured up SEC more for the music, and you're quite right, B9 and the Common blow SGL out the water for that.

Did they? I cant remember them doing Charm Assault, I must have been half asleep In regards to cut songs from the iplayer, I noticed this the other day when watching Liam back, they completely cut out Be Here Now.

    Clash regrets...I've got a few

Ride were excellent. I'm too young to remember them from the 90's but I've really enjoyed their new stuff and it didn't disappoint live. They really go to town with the long guitars jams. Andy Bell is particularly good. JP was probably only a quarter full, but it had the feeling those there were real fans that had waited a long time for that gig.

    Glastonbury 2020

I read that as, "it'll be a sad day if the Charlatans.....are genuinely considered...." The day they play up the Park will be the day I pack it up

    Clash Decisions

My two disaster clashes were Royal Blood / Ride on the Friday, then The Killers / Chic on the Sunday. Unfortunately, I think I may have made the wrong decision judging by reports on here. JP was empty for Ride and Killers obviously too packed. Never mind, still had a blast.

    Worthy View Review

I assume you mean 5 minutes from the other side of the bag checks (which, by the way, were well excessive)? It was at least 20 minutes from the toilet / shower area to the middle of site (Glade) and I consider myself a fairly pacey walker.

    What do we do now!!??

Echo the thoughts of many others in here, going to try a few new festivals next year. Although, as Noel G said in Williams Green on Friday evening, Glastonbury is the only true festival, the others are just big gigs in fields. Two years. TWO Years!! I can't get my head round it.

    Top 5 Acts

Saw some incredible acts over the weekend. My top 5 would be as follows:- 1 - Foo Fighters - Full on 2 hour singalong. DG is such a likeable fella. 2 - Sasha (Unfairground) - Was in a fairly high place at this point and this old school minimal tech set was superb. 3 - Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes - My brother dragged me over to the JP for this, I'd never heard of them. Thought they were bloody great. FC owned that tent. 4 - Justice - I was starting to flake as Justice started so probably didn't get the most out of this at the time. However, they finished off my festival in style. 5 - Craig David - Can't quite believe I'm writing this. But its true, CD on Saturday afternoon was so much fun. Hacienda, Blossoms, Layo & Bushwacker (Glade), Liam, Ride and Dizzie were also great.
