I have another mate who can do Glastonbury without having a sh*t, or taking Imodium. He has his last dump in a motorway service station (he can time such things) on the way down to the festival (from Birmingham) and then releases the 'Mother Load' in another service station on the way back to Birmingham.
Well that’s me avoiding the M5 services and waiting until I reach the M6 before risking a dump.

The danger is he gets faecal impaction, and I don’t mean the Michael Douglas film. Basically overdosing Imodium can cause serious health issues, if the longdrops give you the fear then a little drop of Vicks on the nose helps overcome the smell.

Follow the advice given to soldiers, when you’ve a chance to go then make use of the facilities. I’ve learned from experience to use the longdrops whenever passing them when moving around the site. Don’t want to end up squirming like Iggy Pop when I’m trying to hold in a bursting piss.

Last year the stage had moved to the rear of the Avalon area, away from near the slope up to the railway path. No cafe just a tented stage. Just wasn’t the same relaxed vibe about it.

In all seriousness never attempt to avoid drinking fluids so you don’t need to piss. Dehydration can be very serious especially in the heat and when you’re dancing. I know someone who ended up very ill doing that a festival.

At last! Weather good enough to get up into the hills without Mrs c worrying about having to get a helicopter to rescue me. Hardly taps aff heat but dry and sunny😊

Mrs C was just saying that, loads to see and she’s a big Frank Turner fan. I envisage I might have some delicate negotiations to do when the final stage line ups are announced. Clashes, even three way ones, as usual are inevitable. Great seeing the posters drop just as the weather seems to be picking up😊😉

Happy with that. Frank Turner, Reckon the Bar Stewards will take the Hobo slot, Lulu, Lucy Spraggan, Kate Nash, Haircut 100. Can’t see Robert Fripp playing any king crimson prog unfortunately😊, Toyah will make sure of that.

This dude rocks up half an hour before and starts chatting to the nice couple next to me about how he's here on a volunteering ticket but only bothered with one shift before deciding to jack it in. He then fills two empty pint cups with urine and places them on the other side do the barrier for someone else to deal with.. stays for 15 mins of the set and then leaves.
My only regret in 41 years on this planet is that I stopped myself from pouring his own p*ss over him.
That’s disgusting behaviour, though two pint pots in one go is quite impressive 😉

There’s a big tent appeared on the hill near worthyview, don’t know if it’s festival related. I recollect it’s been there before.
