  1. I confess I don’t understand what any of you are talking about when it comes to weather summaries. I just try and guess the vibe…
  2. My experience of attending 2019 was that it was boiling all weekend even at night. No rain and I walked around in converse. Though the forecast for Sunday was rain and lows of 12
  3. This was the week before Glastonbury in 2019
  4. According to my iPhone weather app yesterday was 80% chance of rain and it’s correct it was. But it was light spitting for half an hour and most of the day was hot and dry and sunny. But it did rain.
  5. I could handle the rain for this weekend were it not wall to wall heatwaves for weeks leading up to it.
  6. Annoyingly I just come back from festivals in Barcelona and Stockholm and Berlin and they were all the hottest I’ve ever experienced there.
  7. He does those monologue breaks at every show. In fact last night the set was tighter than usual! The set list usually starts at around 17 songs and they end up cutting 3 or 4 due to time and his ramblings and sometimes he just tells the band on stage he doesn’t want to do a certain number.
  8. My advice to anyone flying back from Barcelona is to buy fast track security access. On the Aena app they even give you 20% discount which amounts to about 4 euros. Then as soon as through security go straight to the line at passport control at D gates
  9. I flew in yesterday lunchtime to see Strokes and Lorde and am already on the flight back to London. here’s some Lorde shots
  10. Strokes phenomenal and one of their best ever shows. I was fortunate to stand in front of the stage 📸📸📸 throughout : http://www.Instagram.com/raphph
  11. My advice for 2023 is that Prima will have the joint headache of Barca and Madrid to contend with and that Madrid setup seems like a ClusterF waiting to happen.......
  12. These are photos from Strokes gig in Sweden last night which I shot and attended. Note: Strokes were onstage 30 mins late.
  13. I've had the same bug that everyone else has had - dry cough - nose running - hot flushes - feeling ropey
  14. Nuts that I’m back in London already and Tyler barely finished 7 hours ago
  15. Back at hotel packing as flight is in six hours. Some more shots I took here and My Instagram
  16. How does it work and which bar?
  17. They’ve lost a headliner that would have brought crowd carnage and probably a portion of that audience today. I’m not sure they could handle a Strokes concert in current setup but maybe by next week they’ll figure things out.
  18. Surprisingly no. Quite easy to get to the front until about five mins before the start. Then it became very busy.
  19. More relaxed day than yesterday but the Strokes would have brought carnage. Saw al the bands I wanted to see :
  20. I felt guilty having a ticket for the auditorium as I was colossally bored.
  21. Good luck today everyone - I've reduced my expectations to just see Wet Leg and The National - any clashes or half and half are impossible currently - so getting from Weyes Blood to a good Wet Leg spot seems unlikely.
  22. I don't think there will be that many people extra for Strokes next week as by-and-large the audience seemed UK/european and how many can get hotels and flights sorted so cheaply and quickly just for one day next week?
  23. Gabi is already pass-agg threatening Barca authorities in his interview about how unsupportive they've been; hence the Prima Madrid 23 attempt to call their bluff. I think 2 years of Covid and the logistical and staff problems that are happening everywhere means that Prima has lost the basics just like you say probably due to trying to squeeze every euro out of us. I felt like I'd gone back to an old haunt yesterday to realise it wasn't the same. Such a shame.
  24. They should stagger the bands between the main stages more so that’s there an hour where no one is playing. That would reduce crowds and with all the cancellations they could easily move things around. Also Sharon Van Etten was far too big a crowd for Binance stage. They should do a frantic rejig today n
