  1. Brilliant, this was exactly my thoughts. I'll come from Shepton Mallet so best go around to Glastonbury and then back east. Thank you!
  2. Sorry, by car! We are camping at Darble. I live nearer Bath so I'll be coming to/from Pilton direction.
  3. Hey all, I've decided to book a parking space at Ashcombe Park, since it's close to the festival (I may need to come in and out for care giving reasons) and has 24hr security patrol. https://ashcombepark.com The website shows a pin drop to get there, which also has co-ordinates. Now normally this would be very easy, but I'm conscious that the festival will be re-routing traffic to minimise the chaos. Does anyone have any tips/tricks of best directions to go, what to say to festival crew (etc) to easily get there? Is it best to approach the car park from an alternate direction etc? Any advice would be massively appreciated. Thanks! (By the way, currently spaces are still available at £60 if anyone is looking for parking.)
  4. 1. Buy all that chocolate 2. Get amazing at chocolate sculpting using said supplies 3. Get your own chocolate sculpting TV show and rise to stardom 4. Get rich 5. Buy a hospitality ticket or get invited by the Eavii for your incredible talent You can do it!
  5. In previous years I’ve found that Thursday sold the quickest for me. Also entirely random if you get through or not. It’s a complete lottery, don’t worry about it! Hope you manage on Sunday 😊
  6. Both dates now sold out according to landing page. Still worth refreshing until the page comes down though!
  7. Very happy with this announcement, the main one for me is Earl Sweatshirt who is in Odd Future (OFWGKTA) with Frank Ocean and Tyler the Creator. Very rare he performs in the UK!
  8. I think the new payment system will make it much more difficult to get tickets in the late stages of the sale, which I've managed to do for the past several years. There won't be failed/timed out transactions to pick up on and it also means the sale will end extremely quickly if there's no payment step. It streamlines the process (which is a good thing for everyone overall) but I also think it takes away some chances of getting a ticket. Good luck everyone! Hope to see a huge success rate on here as you also had last year.
  9. That's true, could be jumping the gun as it might go on socials later.
  10. Was this officially announced on any social channels, or was the website just updated? If the latter I guess we still may get an area announcement today.
  11. Fair enough! Suspected as much.
  12. In previous years they have stands setup around the campsite or you can pick them up from WaterAid booths. Can’t ever recall them giving them out at the gates.
  13. Haha! The TV is always there. I’ve become very well acquainted with it recently with 2 new arrivals!
  14. Congratulations! You’re going to be very busy by the sounds 😊
  15. Yeah, I have 3 month old twins so thought it was better to be protected.
  16. Haha! I did notice this, I guess since it doesn’t exist we aren’t covered…
  17. All Paid! Never sure if the refund protection is a waste of money or not as the Ts and Cs are quite ambiguous, got it anyway 😊
  18. We camp in Darble every year, setting up on the Thursday (at least for the past 5 years from memory) and it's great. Always nice and quiet, loads of space, plenty of facilities (as of 2022, several breakfast and camping shops too) and a short walk through to the John Peel stage via the campsite above.
  19. Haha! I know, my company is based in Texas so I've travelled all over the US. Just my bad British sense of humour 😄
  20. Is the lake really that salty? I'll see myself out...
  21. Tyler The Creator would be an absolute dream for me. Unlikely I know as he's just finished his CMIFYGL tour, but I can dream!
  22. Has anyone considered the combination of The Weeknd on Friday, Muse on Saturday, Elton on Sunday? Dates for the former two seem to line up and it would be diverse. The Friday night is also often the more contemporary slot and Muse would have enough material to fill the longer Saturday slot.
  23. I'd agree this could happen, much to my annoyance. Would be an effective way to split the crowds as they're both classic acts who I'd argue are equally as famous in their genre. Glastonbury isn't always that logical though, as we've seen in the past several years.
  24. You laugh but he did actually work with Em, he did the chorus on the Live version of Stan on Curtain Call. Think he’s a bit beyond hip hop now though! 😂
  25. Not sure it's a brag tbh, seems to be that they ran out of budget on the other headliners and stuck her on there. A bit like RandL have done when they tried to have 2 headliners a night several years ago.
