Donda was released quite a long time after the first listening party in Atlanta (23rd July) - the album came out over a month later. TLOP was a few months after the Madison Garden listening party IIRC. Reasonable to assume he'll have several listening parties for this one, so personally I'm expecting anywhere from 1-3 months after if it releases at all. Ye didn't even give the green light to release Donda at the end of August (he tried to pull it down as soon as it was released) so who knows when 2 will come out if he has the creative control. I think perhaps he's having some mental episodes currently so he could be in the frame of mind to scrap it altogether. Hoping it's a good album and not just extra songs that didn't make it on the first Donda.

Hopefully it won't be long and we'll be hearing all about syrup sandwiches and crime allowances on the Pyramid stage.
  3. Yep I see what you mean, makes sense. So many lineup announcements recently too so it's a good time to get people excited.
  4. Is it too early to announce the resale though as balances haven't yet been paid? In theory it's possible there won't be a resale, albeit unlikely.
  5. Yep I 100% agree, something for everyone almost with these headliners. There's no way Kendrick would perform anything under Pyramid headliner if you look at his slots at other festivals also. He's also due to release a new single before the Superbowl, so if that happens it looks very likely.
  6. I believe any tickets that aren't collected from the driver on the coach go to the Box Office at the Glastonbury site. So it could possibly be an option to pick them up from there? I guess the problem is it's not guaranteed when the driver will drop them off which could make things difficult. Seeing as you've paid for entry I doubt they have any power to actually refuse entry for not taking the coach, although they can make it as difficult as possible!
  7. He was confirmed for 2020 though if you mean Glastonbury won't get him for 2022? Would make sense as he seems to be resurfacing. Yeah I heard great things about the 2015 set, I'm not sure if it's because he was 'co headlining' and he had a very limited amount of time. I didn't like how the festival set was a watered down replica of his arena tour.
  8. I saw him at Reading, where he went wrong was they lifted and shifted his DAMN tour (with all of the skits and video breaks in between) onto the main stage and the energy quickly went. I also felt perhaps he didn't really care about the concert as he rushed through it, but then he only had a short slot. I'm going to give him another chance if he plays Glasto, hoping Reading was just a bad one.
  9. Great setlist, I would hope maybe some new stuff if we have a new album by then? He's been riding DAMN for 5 years now.
  10. Great shout and if Kendrick headlines I think this is entirely possible.
  11. J Cole - not totally impossible as Earthgang (on his Dreamville label) were confirmed for 2020, so holding out hope.

Maybe it kickstarted the Yeezus era, who knows!

Apparently it's a known 'spot' for rappers. 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg and Drake (to name a few) also visit whilst on tour!

I remember seeing him on the Glow in the Dark tour in 2008, the night after he was arrested due to a fight in a club in Newcastle. He was out the next morning and carried on the tour! https://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/music/news/kanye-west-arrested-at-newcastle-nightclub-1019229.html
  15. It's funny, I was about to buy a ticket for this date a few days ago! Brockhampton was meant to be at the start of Feb in Bristol too which has been cancelled. Wonder if Jay would've performed his Jesus Lord verse.
  16. I looked straight into plane tickets and resale Coachella passes, can't swing it unfortunately but if it's worth doing anyone for, it's Ye. The Sunday Service set was incredible, I remember watching it live.

That's true, it's been a long time since Pablo. I'm keeping my eye on any one-off shows in the US (non festival or day ticket only) since travel restrictions are now much more lenient.

It's also just been confirmed that Ye is headlining Coachella. Hopefully we might get a world tour from this also, although I don't think he'll ever play Glastonbury again.
  19. It is, so possibly late evening on Pyramid? Very odd one, guess we'll have to wait and see potentially!
  20. Great point, I'd say the first two perhaps mid-afternoon pyramid (I don't know Plant too well), Disclosure I could see headlining Other/Silver Hayes or perhaps somewhere in Shangri-La/Arcadia
  21. I'll be incredibly pleased if so, I saw him in 2011 supporting Tinie Tempah (which sounds crazy now!) and as a special guest, one night only with Drake at the o2 in 2019. He'd make a great addition to the lineup!
  22. Bonnaroo have announced their lineup which is a week before Glastonbury. Without researching individual tour dates, I could see the following at Glastonbury: - J Cole (Earthgang on his Dreamville label were confirmed for 2020) - Robert Plant - Disclosure - War on Drugs - King Gizzard - Tove Lo - Arlo Parks - Porter Robinson - Chvrches - All Time Low - Slowthai - Stevie Nicks (maybe, at an absolute push? Probably the most unlikely in my list) - Machine Gun Kelly - Roddy Rich - Rezz
  23. Awesome, seen Coldplay 4 times already but going to shoot for the 16th August date with London Grammar. Apparently ticket prices for Wembley are £60-132 depending where you sit in the arena. This was confirmed by Ticketmaster on Twitter.

Yeah, some of these songs really catch you off-guard. The ones that hit me emotionally particularly are Moon (always love Kid Cudi's voice) and Jesus Lord. Jesus Lord is incredibly captivating and it's a great example of storytelling within hip-hop music, albeit a very sad one of loss and revenge.

Thoroughly impressed with this album, listened the minute it became available. I was on a cruise ship, was very lucky to get it to download! My top tracks from DONDA: Jail (pt1 and 2) God Breathed Off the grid Hurricane Praise God Jonah Junya (pt1 and 2) Believe what I say Remote Control Moon Keep my spirit alive Jesus Lord (pt1 and 2) - Big standout track for me Come to life No child left behind Comes in at 1hr 10 mins. I'm classing it as a top 5 Kanye album alongside Twisted Fantasy, WTT, KSG and Yeezus.
