I thought it was great and will definately stay again in 2023, ticket permitting. Toilet queues were busy in the mornings but I just strolled down to the longdrops at Strummerville instead of queuing for 20 minutes! Nice and quiet, apart from the couple next to me shagging every night and morning and letting everyone else know how good it was. The hill was fine and tbh it would probably have more grip in the wet, gravel when dry tends to be worse than when it's wet.

Elvana Ziggy Marley, Inhaler, Supergrass, Bonobo, Foals, Groove Armada Metronomy, Caribou, Roisin Murphy, Showhawk Duo Just Mustard, Nightmares on Wax, Diana Ross, Elbow, Jarv Is, Bicep Felt like shit on Saturday so got out late then ended up back at the tent for a chill and a sleep before Caribou. Can't believe how many acts some of you squeeze in!

It really wasn't that bad at all, this thread makes it sound horrendous, it wasnt. When it's muddy it's actually not as bad because people don't move about as much and there are much less people sitting on the ground near stages etc.

The litter crew were going around the bins in West Holt's and half emptying them into bags, then carrying the bags away with them. Good idea I thought to keep them reasonably empty until the lorries can come a bit later when the crowds die down.

I saw a few planes passing by and wondered what it would look like. Can't figure out the orientation from that video though.

Some girl near me at Caribou just hunkered down and did a wee in broad daylight in the middle of the crowd.

Obviously depends on age and fitness but I went back to WV at least once a day, sometimes twice, and it didn't take long at all.

I was pleasantly surprised that Brothers were selling pints for £5, and if my eyesight served me well the cider was 6+%.

Agreed on Roisin. Such a shame she had a small crowd but she was amazing. I didn't have any strong headliner options on Saturday so I chose her and I wasn't disappointed. What a class act she is.

I worse Adidas originals all weekend and my feet were fine and I did a lot of walking. My shoulders were sore though from carrying a rucksack full of cider all weekend!

Yeah agreed. The sound went off but there was also some weirdness about 5 minutes after the sound went back on when the beats went all out of sync. Couldn't decide whether they messed up or of it was an issue with the sound again. Other than that I thought they were fantastic.

Hell yeah! I'm also now a worthy view convert so my ticket price has gone up!

Pangea. Arcadia was so underwhelming compared to the crane, be interested to see if they change it up for next year with a new structure of some description.

The addition of repeaters at the Other stage was the best improvement made this year.

Yeah, was really good wasn't it, I ate twice from there over the weekend, top notch and a nice bunch of people working there.

My tent neighbours in worthy view were taking mushrooms at midday on Saturday, so it's not just a coke thing

Was that the place on the left side of the WH stage that did Halloumi and/or fish with chips peas and curry sauce? Can't remember what it was called but it was very, very good.

I managed to avoid most of the crushes. Knowing your way around it makes it a hell of a lot easier as you can take longer routes to places and get there quicker as you avoid the masses on the most direct route.

This forum is bonkers. So every person that annoyed anyone is automatically Torie scum and we all must hate Tories. Hating people for having different political views to you makes you the bellend, not them. It's a very left wing attitude to hate people with different views, it's a sad state of affairs really. And before you all jump on the bandwagon, don't automatically assume that I am one too. I don't think this year was any worse than any other year in terms of number of dickheads around. Ignore them and move on, there was an overwhelmingly larger contingent of nice lovely people having fun.
