  3. They do it as the sites are on neighbours land and those neighbours have to agree to let the festival happen so giving them a nice little earner sorts that one.
  4. There was also a pizza stall in 2019 - and the nicer toilets became awful by Thursday morning as the clientele forgot how to use them properly. If ever we got HT's a agin we would camp in normal camping, probably Darble, as there really was nothing special about it. It is, the top slope is OK but the flat part at the bottom can soon become alake if there is rain a plenty.
  5. There are CV resales too and often a few pop up now and again. You can also try Lovefields who are just outside Gate C and take CV's
  6. Hospitality car parking is a separate ticket and they are even harder to get so if it does not come with one of those you have to buy normal parking. If you do get one then it is easy going through a side gate near Gate A and a 5 min walk to the separate camping but you can camp anywhere on site if you want. Interstage is a waste of space - might save a couple of minutes using it as a shortcut. You might meet interesting people in the camp site - we camped next to some of the Cure's crew.
  7. Historically it has been around the third weekend in April - The Thngy may have more details than that.
  8. Amyl headlined Green Man this year - they are plenty read
  9. If you want to take it further then there are loads of headliners as every stage has them. I just go with what the festival does and announces the 6 for the 2 main stages which is what they have done.
  10. I am away with limited internet but I have read on several pages including the official site that all headliners are announced - so why are people still speculating about more to come? We have what we have at the top of 2 stages - some I like, some I don't some I have never heard of................... The festival will be amazing and I cannot wait to be there again.................................. as for the FB chat group - so much moaning oit is depressing!!
  11. Yes he has left, a new 5 piece band is being unveiled at their Nottingham gig next year.
  12. I am off away on business tomorrow for a month - with Bearded and 2000Trees both announcing this month how am I supposed to concentrate on the work I should be doing? If BT announced Siouxsie I would be far far far too excited to manage any work for a week!!
  13. I have been logged out of my account for a while as I found the bitterness and nasty attacks from some people on this forum getting worse and they really made me wonder why I bothered looking here for information and, heaven forbid, sensible discussions. I have popped back in now having been eager to see what was being said about Madonna etc only to find what I can only describe as a pathetic childish exchange mostly from one corner. @eFestivals could be a great site again but sadly there are some stuck in the past and in a place that cannot be doing themselves much good either. Maybe the future will return the site I found in 2013 and learned so much from. Anyway, Madonna would be a booking as amazing as Elton John was regardless of if you like her or not.
  14. Thanks for the fun - and I would say thanks for the debate but that is lacking here all too often. I am a Green supporter and voter and have been since the 1990's. I would love it if I could vote for one pf the main parties but their policies do not reflect my views, in fact many are totally opposite to my views so I see no point in changing. No election result will ever be my fault or the fault of a a few who stay true to themselves. Tactical voting makes no difference, more so where I live in a new constituency. There are people here who warned me early on about the debate and how some would act - I wish they were not right, but they were. Soon a banned poster will return (probably) and this place will go to utter crap really fast so now is as good a time as any to give it a miss again. Enjoy your banter, your 'trolling', your sexism, your inability to read what is in front of you and your ability to annoy people who are on the same side of the debate as you are. Good work people, good work.
  15. The other poster used blackmail - if I do not vote tactically then the Tories winning is my fault. I will vote green and I will be happy. and if you want to know what really is patronising - it is the pretence on the internet that you are more than you are - and f**k me there is lots of that on here. Nobody bothered to respond to the why would I vote for parties whose policies are the opposite of what I want - likely because that is far to hard when insults and accusations are far easier - if all of this is the version of a democratic system you lot want then have fun lives where nothing will ever change.
  16. I absolutely guarantee that you would vote Labour as on here before you have said just that - you would vote Labour regardless. Anyway, I can vote for who I want and if I do I have not elected a Tory government. It is impossible for one person in one constituancy to do that.................. and like always, when I ask difficulty questions of you, you ignore those parts.......................... why would I ever vote for parties whose policies are the opposite of my desires? and as for saying because I choose to vote Green I am not allowed to say anything about how others vote - get real, grow up and please stop being pathetic. You actually do more harm to undecided voters with that sort of language. I really cannot be bothered when people try and blackmail and blame 'you' for an election result just because you do not vote they way they want you to - how is that democracy? Goodnight
  17. and there is little worse than blackmail to try and get someone to change their vote which is where this conversation started.
  18. Should all the good people of Brighton now vote Labour rather than Green..................... just in case. No, they should keep voting Green, the way they chose to and if they return a new Green MP that voice will be heard in Parliament.
  19. I can see the headlines now - weird cucumber in Wales's single vote changes the entire outcome of the election......... I have morals, ethics and principals - that is what I vote for............... not some alternative in some dream land that they will change to give me what I hope for.
  20. Bless you - and also.......................... be serious............... my one vote enable nobody and I honestly hate it when this is used t#o try and 'blackmail' people I want: PR Net zero by 2035 Roads building scrapped and all that investment in public transport No nuclear To rejoin the EU Just 5 things I want.................. so I vote Labour who offer none of them? That would be stupid. I vote Lib Dem who offer just one pf them - that would be stupid. If you lived in a constituancy where in 2019 Labour came third to the Lib Dems and Tories would you vote Lib Dem? Of course you wouldn't. I vote for what I want - not something else in so blind hope they decide to change their policies....................... and anyway, my constituancy is now new due to boundary changes so there is no way of knowing who won, came second etc....... The only person I enable is myself with my right to a democratic vote
  21. You need to learn maths...... as long as my vote is not Tory it does not alter their overall percentage of the vote.
  22. No I will vote for who I want, not tactically. I have done the later before, what a waste of time. Achieved nothing. So I shall vote Green regardless. As I have said before, if small parties get a good percentage then those in power sit up and take note - UKIP 2013 onwards and the promise for a referendum as a result. If the small party percentage falls, the big boys can ignore them - UKIP 2016 onwards.
