  1. Hi. Has anyone had experience of using the challenge 21 wristbands that can be obtained from the property lock ups?
My twin daughters turn 18 on the first day of the festival so will be getting one of these wristbands. Do all the bars accept them or do some still ask for id to back it up? They were hoping to get the band and then leave id at the camper van.
    thanks.

  2. Sorry if this should be in questions.

Is anyone aware if gate C will be made any bigger to cope with the additional East CV fields?

We have been in the West CV fields for the last few and entry is easy. There used to be queues at busy times at C in previous years.

    Thanks. Nice to be back!

  3. We have been in West campers for a good few years now. It was easy to get vans in and out and access via pedestrian gate was always no problem. 5 minute Q at the busiest times. I wonder if the capacity to handle more people at Gate C will be improved. A long walk and then a long Q are never the best start to a day!

Correcting myself.... Actually the very worst case scenario is not getting any tickets!

It is a somewhat pointless academic exercise in estimating the odds of successfully buying tickets as there is insufficient information available to do so. However the odds of a group of 6 all being successful in buying 3 x 2 person coach packages will be significantly lower than for a single group of 2 persons wanting coach tickets. My advice therefore for a large group wanting coach tickets is to make each pair sustainable so they could just attend as a two if needs be.

Good luck.....and if you are successful... Mine's a pint! ?

    Thanks!

Thats as I read it but just wasn’t sure. We have the plan in place and the children only pair would only get bought if the adult pair bag some (and locations are all close). It’s being massively over optimistic to think we will get 1 pair never mind a chance for a second pair but if for some magical reason it happened we need to have a plan!

It might change but last year you picked times and this is where it picked you up last year. Might change:

OPPOSITE CITY OF BRISTOL COLLEGE, ANCHOR ROAD BS1 5UA

Great thanks. I don't suppose you know what sort of times available. We are thinking Thursday but early if possible.

  6. Loyle Carner Saturday in John Peel. Had me welling up. A fantastic set, unbelievable crowd response, the sad story of his dad, what it meant to him and then getting his mum on stage right at the end and picking her up for a big hug!

Well worth a watch back if you haven't seen it yet.

Yep - even as local Admin you are not allowed to overwrite the sensitive hosts file due to UAC and the specific ACL's placed on that file. The easier way around it is to replace the "glastonbury.seetickets.com" component of the URL with the IP Address. Alternatively, if you really want to modify the host file, open it, save it somewhere else like the desktop and copy the file into the folder to overwrite the exising file wbich will prompt for Admin authorisatio  but will allow you to overwrite without having to fiddle with the ACL's of the existing file.

Sorry for being a bit dim on this sort of thing but are you saying its much easier to simply change the URL at the top of the screen to

    http://109.231.214.235/event/glastonbury-2017-deposits/worthy-farm/1100000/

    Thanks

If it missed out the two pink squares to choose how did it know which day you were going for? I guess there won't be that choice on Sunday anyway...

To be honest I'm not sure in my mind (which was all over the place due to the stress!) the selection of days was different but I could be completely wrong.

    Interesting

I still had the tour one set up on my page monitor and it pinged it 5/10 mins before the sale so I opened it refreshed at 6 and straight in. I think it missed the page with the 2 large pink squares to choose Wed/Thur and no holding page.

  10. Really sorry to those that missed out.

I managed to get 6 for friends as I will be trying on Sunday for mine so hope for a return of the favour.

Just curious, which page did people start from?

I had the extras page and the tour page open. Got straight through on the tour page. Only hold up was the page hanging a couple of times after reg numbers and about 3 times after card details. Used back then had to reenter card details then proceed. Confirmed at 6.07pm

  11. Looking for a bit of confirmation / reassurance that what I understand to be the rules regarding free entry for children are correct.

So children aged 12 and under don't need to be registered and don't need any form of ticket. You can simply turn up at the gate with some form of ID to confirm date of birth and they will get in?

If this is the case will this still apply to my twin daughters? There 13th birthday is on 22nd June 2017. As I understand they need to be 12 or under on the first day of the festival which will be the 21st June.

Will this still apply if we don't arrive until the Thursday / Friday when they will be 13?

    Thanks for the help.

  12. We have previously got the coach with one of people with a coach ticket driving the camper down. Tickets where handed to the lead Booker in an envelope. Didn't check individual tickets and passengers.

If they had we would have said that the guy missing had been delayed therefore missed the coach but will get to the festival the following day so we would need his ticket.

No body asked so didn't test this.
