  1. Echo what others have said, you tend to be able to take an earlier/later coach than the one you got on. Think See pretty much accept a fair chunk of people don't take up the return coach. I think my return coach was 3pm or something this year but got on with ease for a 7am-ish one.
  2. For The National/Aaron Dessner fans, seems he co-wrote/produced The Great War, High Infidelity & Would've, Could've, Should've on the 3am edition.
  3. It's The King of Limbs II/Lunar Power all over again! Echoes my thoughts on it; decent listen but not one I'll rush back to.
  4. Blur are one of the very small handful of acts I'd happily pay £100+ a ticket for. Very high up on my list of bands I've not seen yet. Still, hopefully it's cheaper than that!
  5. Let's Eat Grandma also cancelled their EU tour citing costs/logistics too...
  6. I reckon if Pitchfork aren't sitting on another drop of "fresh" allegations to time for the start of the NA tour, they'll be somewhat in the clear. As FloorFiller said above, they'll probably take a few years out and come back as if nothing happened. Whether people remember/care enough about the Pitchfork article then, well that remains to be seen.
  7. Did anyone else find the latest Red Hand Files letter re: Iran a little, for want of a better word... odd? I fully understand Iranians are wanting/desperate to get their message out there, but it seemed to really go for Nick...
  8. I did indeed, got lucky in the resale! Noticed you went to Primavera instead; was it a good back up do you think?
  9. Ah yes think we buddied up for the 2020 main sale haha! Sounds good to me, cheers!
  10. I'd be interested in joining forces for an early Wednesday London coach, although it'd just be me as it stands!
  11. Jockstrap ticket for Heaven secured, £16.50 is an absolute bargain.
  12. It definitely felt odd, somewhat subdue at the start but felt Win & the crowd got more into it as the gig went on. Rabbit Hole to me felt like a real turning point. Wasn't the best of the four times I've seen them (suspect they'd never top that Castlefield gig to me anyway) but was still a bloody good show. Needed more Power Out tbh.
  13. Any chance tonights show gets postponed if they announce the Queen's death before doors open?
  14. Got very lucky with someone's buyer's remorse it seems, already nabbed a ticket on the DICE waiting list!
  15. Aghh missed out on Alvvays London tickets!
  16. Getting strong Yorkshire Father John Misty (especially his last album) vibes with this one which is no bad thing at all.
  17. Seems they're already in Dublin, personally I can't see them cancelling the tour unless the allegations snowball further.
  18. Waltzed through the gates at 4.45 there. Not even a pat down.
  19. Spiritualized clashing with The Smile is a bit grim, suppose I've already seen The Smile twice this year so the former may win out.

  22. Ah fingers crossed! How long did you have to wait between sending them your email and the form coming through?
  23. Same here! Hoping I can pick the Nick Cave when the email comes through...

  25. Yeeesh, no BC,NR is a big miss for me. I know they can't actually perform at the ceremony, but I can see it being in and around the top of many end of year lists. Backing Wet Leg personally but it's a fairly open field this year.
