  1. I can't see Radiohead headlining, but I think it's a safe assumption The Smile will be there as will EOB, so I wouldn't bet against a secret Park set or something with them three or EOB joining The Smile for a couple of songs.
  2. Slept on it on Friday because it was the day of our Lorde, but the new Joy Formidable album is excellent.
  3. Succession is one of my favourite programmes of all time, absolutely fantastic writing. Very excited for season 3. I finished my West Wing binge and I agree with the consensus; seasons 1-4 are great, season 2 might be my favourite season of telly of all time but Season 5 is dross; they really missed Sorokin. It picked up quite a bit for S6+7 but I still found myself just wanting to get it finished. I don't think it usrups Mad Men from my top spot. While TWW had higher highs than it, Mad Men was just consistently brilliant throughout it's entire run.

    Lorde

I'm on my second listen and I just completely zoned out for that section. It's just so dull.

    Lorde

Somewhat annoyingly, the bonus tracks are great. Swap these two in for The Man With The Axe/Dominoes/Big Star/Leader... and it's a better album in my book.

    Lorde

I think it's decent, Side A is very strong but Side B it does feel like it drags a bit until the final two tracks. I reckon it'll grow on me more with a couple of listens Am I a little disappointed this is the follow up to Melodrama after four years? Undoubtedly. Would I call it a bad album? Absolutely not.
  7. Ed strikes me as a "one and done" sort of headliner.
  8. More chance of The Smile getting booked in and Ed popping round to their set for a song I reckon.

    Billie Eilish

It instantly became a favourite of mine from Billie on first listen and I imagine it'll be absolutely immense live. Gives me strong I Know The End by Phoebe Bridgers vibes.
  10. Yeah, I feel like they have the opportunity to be a bit bolder and I hope they do for future episodes, for example I think it would've been better if they killed off Rogers in the first ep.
  11. I will say this, West Hills is probably my favourite Killers song of the past decade.
  12. First listen to The Killers new one and based on the reviews I feel like I may be in the minority here but I can't say it does an awful lot for me. Was a nice enough listen but nothing really stood out for me. I'll give it another crack tomorrow with the speakers but failing that, can't say there's much making me want to go back to it.
  13. Up against the Lorde love in instead!

  15. I really do think they can make the step up but aye also don't think they will unfortunately.
  16. Billie Reg AM Seems where the smart money may be?
  17. Aye, you'd suspect/hope they had back up artists in place in case acts can't get across from abroad.

  19. I don't even think I've even listened to three new albums this month, quite a barren month for me. As it stands it's; 1. Lump 2. Billie Eilish
  20. The Prodigy 59 (-5) LCD Soundsystem 31 (+5)
  21. The Prodigy 125 (-5) LCD Soundsystem 105 (+5)

    Billie Eilish

Overall, I'm really enjoying the album. I reckon it tops When We All Fall Asleep for me personally.

    Billie Eilish

Good God that second half of Happier than Ever was a bloody pleasant surprise.
