  1. New Public Service Broadcasting album out next month and featuring actual normal singing vocals which is as far as I know a first for them. They've based themselves in Berlin and it's meant to be inspired by the city. 2 songs out from it already, 1 of which is embedded in this article https://www.loudersound.com/news/public-service-broadcasting-return-with-new-album-bright-magic
  2. Really like this. Thanks for the recommendation.

  5. Went for a walk listening to the new Jungle album earlier. By the time the bassline to the 2nd track kicked in, my walk had turned into a strut Also really liked this one from the album:

  9. I'd presumed they were trying to limit numbers so would be a no go, but yeah suppose there can't be any harm in asking. Worst they can do is say no.
  10. We've been allowed back to play five aside football the last few weeks. First week was torture, was really sunny day and hall was boiling. Starting to get a bit easier after a few weeks back. Tried to go swimming today as I'd like to do more non impact exercise as have had a fair few knee injuries over the years through football and feel like I don't have long left playing. Unfortunately local swimming baths only taking bookings in advance just now, which wasn't really obvious from their website. So drove there, paid 10p for parking, then had to drive straight back home. Have booked for tomorrow morning, but could only get booked in medium speed lane, which I'm a bit worried about as my swimming technique isn't the best and I'd much rather be in the slow lane.
  11. I picked 2 really good albums and a 3rd to make up the numbers. It wasn't Inhaler, but it easily could have been. Was a weak month I think.

  21. 75% Lots of events are going ahead successfully just now so should be good, but the virus does seem to be seasonal and winter is the time the government will be most worried about NHS being stretched, so I suppose there is a risk we have restrictions at winter and Glastonbury has to cancel due to uncertainty (only for other festivals that are later in the year to be fine).
