  1. I think Primavera knows as well the sooner it gets the names out the door the quicker they can get sales in. They benefit from being one of the first festivals with 'surprising' names. Blur for example turned out to be at loads of festivals further down the line but many people would have already bought Primavera tickets. I could see this being the case next year for acts like Pulp/SZA/Travis who haven't played Europe that much recently (TIL Travis has played Spain once in 2018, so that's a great get for the festival irrespective of if i think he's problematic or kinda rubbish).
  2. EOTR as they were previously booked for there in 2020.
  3. She was a lot smaller then, had a colossal rise in the years since.
  4. Swear it's still too early. Stay patient according to Gabi the full line up will likely be next month.
  5. Cheers just realised i said this year haha, meant this week.
  6. Didn't like it at all to be honest. Think IDLES are so one note and rubbish for the past 2 albums and this single isn't changing my mind.
  7. I just assume she'll have a festival ready set up ready to go, it's not like rehearsing the Eras tour, the set design could be completely the same tbh. me and many others are under the impression the seated venue decision is to put off the crazy weird fans that turned up on the last tour. I just don't see why she'd miss Spain if she wasn't playing Primavera and the dates are incredibly suspect given the proximity.
  8. I know many of us say it but they should just stop being greedy and stick to Barcelona and Porto
  9. Primavera just cancelled most of their Bogota festival, massively scaled back line up.
  10. Didn't even realise it was shut. Thankfully don't go there often, horrible horrible venue but the lack of communication is shocking.
  11. There are certainly some dream bookings that would top this for me personally. But yeah, 2022 was vintage.
  12. Isn't Pinkpantheress crap live? I liked her debut EP but have 0 desire to see it live as I just don't think it would work in a live setting.
  13. Because 'Talking Heads' as a name is what's attributed to the Stop Making Sense marketing and will draw more attention. I would put money on it not being a live performance.
  14. Even if talking heads reunite they would not play primavera, least not on the first round of dates
  15. prices are already up on Seetickets for some of the places. Pro tip See Tickets normally put prices up beforehand for most events.
  16. Don't think either will be booked but they're around
  17. Didn't realise Carly's brother also made music
  18. Gonna keep my eye on these, might leave some gaps for some European festivals
  19. I really agree with this sentiment. I actually wouldn't mind if they did or didn't play. But it certainly does feel lazy. I also don't think it will be the deep cut laden 30 song setlists we've had as of late which I'd much prefer over the festival style setlist we'd probably get.
  20. But it doesn't demean them at all, all acts have played across line ups that may be deemed as 'bad'. I think anyone who judges an act for playing a crap line up has some weird snobby complex to them tbh.
