  1. I'm available to help on Thursday, happy to pay with my own card in the interest of speed and speak to whoever I'm successful for separately to sort the money afterwards.

I have some friends I am trying for in general sale. Haven't added them to any spreadsheets as in honesty - as it's their first time even trying for tickets - I think the ticket process is blowing their minds enough before I even try and explain any of our spreadsheets. If we manage to get them tickets early on in the Sunday sale though I'm happy to try for any spreadsheets here then too.

No one gives this slack to Wenger and coming up against fergies utd.

Klopp return for a team compared to the all time great teams, is average to say the least.

Fergie and Wenger teams didn't get above 90 points as far as I know. If the title race was each teams best ever points hauls then United and Arsenal would have been out of the title race against Liverpool and City 2-3 games before the end of the season.

Fully appreciate it's a different era and football has evolved but from a purely points based perspective Klopps LFC would have won the league ahead of United and Arsenal every year they won the league.

I have no doubt the top 2 in PL history are Ferguson and Wenger, but the fact people so criminally underrate Klopp is difficult to understand.

Another point of reference that we know  of from planning docs is Arcadia’s field budget for 2022 was £465K for everything. That works out at £3.32 per ticket, I think! 😂

Out of curiosity, I assume that's the budget for the setup etc and doesn't include the cost of all the acts too?

Genuinely upset! There were 26 on the Avalon stage last year, and only 25 on the poster, so clinging to that, or them showing up on the Other stage or something... the dream isn't dead yet!

Avalon is definitely done now. The only hope to cling to is them being on Other or Pyramid but I just can’t see it. No reason why they would have had to hold back announcing them either due to album/tour etc embargo.

It's no bigger to win more than utd last 10 years.

He should of won more title, with the plaudits he is getting. One league title, and a covid 1 to boot. Great managers raise there game to conquer the likes of city's money. Fergie did it with Roman and his billions.

Klopp has been a success, but not as great as people say for me.

I like to think I'm a fairly level headed LFC fan.

Klopp is, without doubt, the best manager we've had in decades and deserves a statue.

The point about it being a "covid title" holds no weight as we were 25 points ahead before football got stopped.

Klopp finished on 90+ points twice and didn't win the league both times, he was up against an absolute juggernaut in Pep's Man City. Any other era and he would have won 3 or 4 titles in a row.

I'm not going to compare him to Fergie who (it pains me to say) is the best ever but I think Klopp is criminally underrated as a result of losing out on 2 PL titles to an incredible Man City team and 2 CL finals to Madrid. If things had gone slightly differently he could be leaving with 3 PL titles and 3 CL titles.

That would be so disappointing, the spider is a bit rubbish now. It's the oldest electronic music stage now, everything else has had a change up. It'd be a bit disappointing if it was all the same especially for something that was designed to evolve.

The thing is I think a lot of us are spoilt by going every/most years. The spider is hugely impressive to anyone new. I bought my brother and his girlfriend to their first Glastonbury last year and they were blown away.

8 of the major meteorological agencies around the world have released their temperature forecasts for June. All 8 have gone for a warmer than average June in the Glastonbury area, some considerably so. Given the effect global warming has had on the climate and the temperature records that have been broken over the last year, that’s no real surprise, but nice to see such consistency nonetheless.

Unless we see a switch to Heineken as PB it won't be Neck Oil. Carlsberg are possibly the worst big brewery for that type of thing, Heineken have Beavertown, Lagunitas and others, even Molson Coors have Salt Beer in their distribution portfolio... (Wouldn't that be nice!)

I think Brooklyn was the best Carlsberg could offer last year. We were looking for a new PB ourselves last year, we found that Carlsberg are (or were) very good for continental beers, not so good for American or craft style beers.

(To be fair, I'm not currently as up to date with any recent micro acquisitions or distribution deals they've made as I was last year, because we're not looking for a new PB ourselves anymore.)

I've think I've mentioned on eFests that I work for a brewery (one you've mentioned) but genuinely interesting to know there are people on the other side of things who will be a lot less biased than me.

For a festival I think Carlsberg will end up as supplier more times than not purely as they're the cheapest. Festivals have a captive audience so to a certain point can sell what they want.

I am in the game as well and having real product issues with CMBC. The product line-up is so uninspiring. However for a table beer the Hobgoblin Session IPA is rather pleasant. Not sure if they had that G2023 because I wasn't there, but would be a welcome addition.

Personally I am not a fan of the Brooklyn and would much rather have Estrella.

I come up against CMBC a lot in my role and I always think the same, it's not the best lineup but they have a decent lineup of world/premium.

I love Estrella, think it's one of the best lagers in the UK but for some reason don't see it too much in the UK (probably price as it isn't owned by one of the main 3)

I believe Poretti is now made in Wolverhampton at the old Banks Brewery site, and Estrella is made in Bedford at the old Eagle Brewery site. At least both of those were originally made in Italy and Spain.

Unlike my personal fave Madri, which has never been near Spain and is brewed in the old John Smith's Brewery at Tadcaster.

But we certainly won't be getting Madri as yet again it is a Heineken product and not CMBC

In terms of site changes, I would be very happy if they ditched CMBC and got Heineken on board.

I can't share the figures here as it's work related but it's genuinely amazing how that has become a top 3 lager in Wales (top 5 in the UK) already. Lovely beer.

I would definitely dispute the second Madri point though.. I work for one of the 3 breweries mentioned above and Madri is 100% not a Heineken product. Unfortunately also not CMBC so no chance at  Glastonbury 😞

I think there was a video of someone finding a ticket last year?

    Through some googling, you're right.

No idea if this is a legitimate reaction or not but who cares, IMAGINE finding this.

Well the news that has just broken that Alonso has signed an Aston Martin contract extension means the first domino has fallen.

I actually thought Red Bull might try to sign him if Verstappen broke his deal in the wake of allegations that his management & Horner had fallen out, but that was always a very long shot.

No chance Max would have done that when Red Bull are so dominant. If he's going to do it then it will be just before the regulation change.

Surprised Alonso is staying at Aston, they're not really showing promise of progression so I would guess it's a nice paycheck for a year or 2 to help develop the car.

Sainz is without a doubt the best option for every team. Incredible driver. Would be surprised if Mercedes don't try and sign him.

No idea who RB will get for next year.

Perez to Kick Sauber (assuming 1 of their drivers is out of contract). Bottas/Perez would be a great lineup.

  11. Had my delivery of 3 Tonys bars today. Assuming the "you've won" paper would be outside the foil, then I've not won. If it's inside the foil then my friends who are ticketless are going to have to wait a while longer to see if I've won 😄

So wonder if The Brewery will replace either The Cornish Arms (or whatever that first place along there was called) or that bar that replaced the Rock the Kasbah further along. (which was a terrible shame).

    Still miss this, loved it.

Last years festival I enjoyed it's replacement though. Playing some amazing music on the Thursday night!

Yeah no way are they sticking Busted in Avalon after the bollocking they got a couple of years ago about big acts in small tents. They’ll be on Pyramid or Other if they’re there, although leaning towards them not being there now. Can only do Sunday anyway I think?

Yeah, they are in Scotland on Friday and London Saturday. I guess they could play early Saturday then head to London but seems unlikely. I'm definitely leaning towards them not being there now 😞

Someone on the other site had 'info' that Busted were opening Pyramid on one of the days, I think. But I'm not sure how credible that info was.

Oh really? I missed that. Hopefully they're right!

I’d say a tearful goodbye by climbing up to the Glastonbury sign late Sunday night, stay a while and pinpoint all the areas of the festival and take one last photo.

My thought before I even read this comment. Just sitting up on the hill, taking it all in.

Other suggestion would just be returning to (as close to) the spot you were stood for your favourite ever set at the festival. Take a picture and compare it to the pictures you likely have from that spot.

I don't know the current status*, but as of the 2015 festival, it wasn't in a building. It was (for lack of a better way of describing it) a small box on the edge of the farmyard, with a camera on a pole coming out of the top of it.

Ah, if this is the case then I take back my last comment. I've visited the farm a few times and seen the webcam from a distance but assumed it was attached to the roof of one of the farm buildings.

In that case @Crazyfool01's worries may be right, the build they're referring to might actually be the festival. If so what are we all meant to do for the next 2 months!?

  16. You can't dominate a half that much and only score 1, was always going to be a different second half. Nobody to blame but ourselves.

Still think City will run away with it.

I just hope that Klopps last season doesn't end with just the Carabao Cup.

Oh no hope they don’t mean the site build .

I took it as there being construction work on the building housing the webcam. They've never turned it off for the site build before so can't see them doing it now.

I hope it's fixed by the end of the month so I can do the full Glastonbury obsessive and see myself on the webcam when I visit the farm. Pyramid Inception.
