I’ve heard by a working steward that it’s Dave and the chili peppers… but she knew less than me about the pulp rumours (which are sh*t) so I don’t know how much I can Take her info as gospel.

Had a fantastic time at Warrington yesterday- the weather was perfect and Pulp were incredible! They seem so full of energy. And the crowed seemed to suck it up - up there with one of the best times I’ve seen them live. I’ve got Sheffield tickets too but so so want them to be at Glasto. (I was meant to be having a glasto-break this year but soon as the Pulp reunion tour came out I got tickets purely because I was convinced they’d be there!)

It was Nick banks (drummer of pulp) somone tweeted - “Glastonbury, talk to me”
he retweeted that and wrote “somewhere in a field in Somerset”
if they are not there, that was a very cruel joke 🥺

That pulp t shirt with the tour dates on the back doesn’t look good for glasto does it? I’m thinking the only hope now IS a secret set and not on the glasto final poster 😭

Great set list but surprised there isn’t earlier stuff on there. It’s missing razzmatazz so much too.

The Liam rumour is such a weird one. No chance in my opinion. Noel has more of a friendship with Jarvis/pulp than Liam does for starters plus their audience (Liam/oasis fans) are not the same as Pulp fans. Whole different calibre of fans here. It just wouldn’t work.

Queued for around 1.5 hours from 6:45ish. I decided to head to ST Helens rather than Liverpool city centre as I heard some queues had began at 3am!
I got all that I wanted so was worth it. -

Yeah the set list was brilliant. I remember some um, scally lads in-front of me that one of had just pissed in a bottle and dropped it on the floor 🤮 he heard me singing along to Razzmatazz/Acrylic Afternoons and said “hey! you get in-front of us love you’re clearly a big fan” it was very kind but I didn’t fancy standing in the piss puddle tbh 😐

I got there very early too. Long before they shut it off I couldn’t get close enough to see, I’m 5ft 1 and can usually weave through crowds no problem but not that gig. Plus no screens so I couldnt even get a glimps. Honestly I’ve seen Pulp 20 odd times since 1996 and that’s my least favourite gig I think. Different strokes/folks and all that.

never seen Elton and he’s been rumoured for about a decade so I’m glad it’s finally happening. I probably wouldn’t pay to go and see him at his own show.

I know Jarvis loves glastonbury and goes many a year without playing (as a punter?) He was there at least from the Saturday last year (best mates sister bumped into him) when he was only playing on the Sunday. So I’m 100% convinced Pulp will be there. I was having a year off Glasto until the pulp rumours started then I just knew I had to try for tickets.
He’ll be there. Pulp will be there. It makes perfect sense.

I managed standing tickets for Sheffield (Saturday) and I bought 4 tickets for Warrington weekender (Sunday) I’m taking my two teenage daughters to watch my favourite band in the world and I can’t wait. It’ll be emotional for me I think as Victoria park was the place I saw Pulp in 1996 (V96) it’s my first time returning there in 27 years 🤣
also was lucky enough to get tickets for glastonbury. It’s going to be an incredible summer.

I agree with you tbh but just wanted to share info around… has anyone heard anything on pulp? Like the usual threads are not being hit so I think no. But but I need to know (my favourite band of alllll time)
