  1. Further to this anyone know what the parking/camping arrangements are that are shown in this video? Seem to be a lot of cars pitched up in a field with tents. Doesn't look like a van field, just a bunch of tents with various cars scattered about.
  2. Is there a current site map anywhere (specifically campsites in relation to car parks)? Can't seem to find one on the BT website. Plans changed and now camping with a mate who won't be bringing his van. looking for somewhere not too wild, quietish, nearish to car parks and loos etc. Any suggestions. Secondary to this is that if anyone is looking for campervan pass, we probably have one available at face.
  3. My particular obsession Plastic Mermaids confirming Friday afternoon on the Croissant Neuf. No specific time. Not sure what day Wet Leg and Lauren Hibberd are playing but could envisage an appearance on the qt if they're all around on the same day given their past very close ties.
  4. Sadly not. But the good news is that Parish has vowed to abstain from his tractor fetish. He is now an extractor fan......
  5. Apparently his wife is now leaving him, and has sent him a John Deere letter.......
  6. Parish resigning........after er, a little bit of tractor? https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-61284686?at_medium=custom7&at_custom2=twitter&at_custom1=[post+type]&at_custom4=DD9FC58C-C87E-11EC-A179-756D96E8478F&at_custom3=%40BBCBreaking&at_campaign=64

  10. Karen Elson channelling her inner Angela Rayner in this video. New album Green, out today. No Jack White involvement.
  11. Still showing as that on the website. Which I didnt realise. I was still under the impression it was about 1pm. Going to be setting off a bit earlier then.......
  12. That was quickly followed by Let's Eat Grandma's new one 'Two Ribbons'. Really enjoyed it - less wacky/off kilter than previous releases, moe Chvrches direction in places but great songs which really shows of their talents. Just got new Charles Watson and Royksopp to go today.
  13. Up early this morning and just listened to the new Archive offering 'Call to Arms & Angels' Epicer than an epic bag of epic things. 17 tracks and they run seamlessly into each other. If you have the patience for some 14 minute songs and like this sort of stuff, it's well worth a listen.
  14. Lots of porn on Twitter as Grant Shapps will testify. The porn sites might be blocked but Twitter clearly isn't.
  15. They never published them before either so not a valid argument. The Durham thing has also (unsurprisingly) been misrepresented. Durham have simply acknowledged receipt of the letter and a FOI request (as they are bound to do) and the twat MP has tweeted it and twisted it.
  16. '...no issue reporting this' - press are not subject to pre-election restrictions aka purdah so they can report what they want. i like Hislop but he is talking bollox and has totally the wrong end of the stick there. Investigations and fines are continuing unchanged - the only difference is that the Met are not putting out press releases during the pre-election period.
  17. Just realised theres a massive Morrisons just up the road. Ideal place to meet my mate who's in his campervan and transfer a load of stuff to him so I don't have to carry it across the site from the car parking.....result!! Only a few weeks - better warm up a bit. freezing up here in the barren northern wastelands. Incidentally, a reminder that the offer still stands for anyone struggling for a lift from the North - I'm travelling down solo from Northumberland and have plenty of space if anyone needs picking up/dropping off within reasonable distance of the M1 - no cost.
  18. Paul Arthurs: Oasis guitarist known as Bonehead diagnosed with cancer. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-61236635 Get well soon...
  19. If any 80s/90s kids remember them, The Popguns are back on tour in July with a couple of dates in tiny venues York and Newcastle. Wendy's voice sounding as good as ever. jangle/dream/indie pop done well.
  20. Love the songwriting and the album in general, but, and not sure if it's just me, I absolutely hate the mixing and production on this record. Sounds compressed, tinny and messy on my system and through some decent headphones and spoils my enjoyment of it. I have a digital 24bit 96hz Qobuz download which I downloaded while working away so not sure if the vinyl is any better. It might be that this effect is what he was aiming for but I find it quite tiring to listen to. Shame, because apart from that it's one of my albums of the year so far.
  21. Too big, too crowded at times. I never buy a ticket now and only attend as a volunteer worker and as such, never feel I'm missing out. Much prefer the smaller festivals as a paying punter.
  22. Pleased with a few of those new additions....
  23. Has the Truth Stage been knocked on the head? Comes up on GF google searches but is now ' Page not found' when you click through. Or has it just been renamed as something else? https://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/areas/shangri-la/truth-stage/
  24. Said Wolf Alice crust on video for demonstration purposes: wa.mp4
