that year I got to my car about half 12 to drive home (was going home every night) and when I arrived to my car there was around 5 security guys, a tow truck and some who looked in charge of it all stood around 20 cars close to mine, they rudely told me to be on my way and then the person went to the tow truck and said "give it another ten minutes and start to clamp/move" didnt stay to find out but the next morning (Sunday) I arrived and was told on entry "any car still in the car park at 1am will be towed"

The day car parks have to be empty at the end of the night. I remember in 06 they were clamping cars that were still in the car park after 1am, If they see you in the car they will be making you drive out.

[Arctics / Eminem ?]

Ive seen the Arctics 4 times and they just get worse every time , last time at Leeds fest 2009 they were so boring no response to the crowd what so ever.(Alex been to far up his own, i think).

Eminem no thanks , i was gonna come back to V this year as i cant make Leeds due to sisters wedding but i think ill give it a miss altogether this year.

I now people love both these acts they are just not for me.

Arcade Fire, the Libs or even Coldplay would have done me.

After the shambles in 2008 at Stafford i said i would never come back to V, my sister in law is getting married on the Leeds weekend so that is off the cards this year.

I think i will go for chemsford site as i just cant be bothered with weston park , has the sun been out at chemsford the last few years.

Ah no, Coldplay playing Rock am Ring too, twice in one Summer. I suppose its better than an act I really dislike. I hope they close staffs for me, I've heard bad things about RHCP live and I don't want the fest to end on bad note...

They were amazing at Leeds last year, every 1 saying they are not a V type band then what is ,V organisers sometimes do book something a bit diffrent not many times (radiohead , morrisey , dido)

I had a greeat weekend fav bands were Arcade Fire , the libs , Foals , biffy and mumford and sons ( misses dragged me along to them and i quite enjoyed it).

Biggest let down for me was Blink and GnR was expecting so much more from Guns.

My sister in law is getting married next year so will only be able to do the sunday, never mind big blow out the year after.

Brown campsite went faily quite at around 4am , no camp DJ a bonus at that time of the morning.

Leeds

Best Arcade fire see them in 2007 and became a fan ever since.

Worst Blink i was so looking forward to it but they were rubbish imo.

Surprising Biffy Wow how good are they live.

Disappointing Guns and roses , 1 of the bands i was most lookig forward to just bad set list order, if your gonna come on late do your hits first.

Strangest Mumford and sons was draged along by the wife , realy enjoyed it.

Highlight the libs thought they wouldnt be very good and they were ace.

The sound at leeds seemed to be a bit worse for Paramore and Blink than usual, esspecially the vocals.

my advice is there pretty safe if you dont have stuff visible in the car you should be ok i used to leave the glovebox open and empty too, i did have my car bust into once they jammed the lock with a screw driver security couldnt give shit! i went out on the day and they put me in a dark corner of the car park which wasnt lit at night.

I was thinking after last year that I'd probably be able to get away without bringing any wellies, but given the recent weather I'm definitely not going to risk it.

32 myself , just go for the fun factor and Leeds Festival does that in alot of diffrent ways for me.

Sometimes its so cold i just wanna go home , sometimes its so wet i just wanna go home , but come monday morning all i wanna do is stay and wish it went on longer.

Burger King for the best meal ive eaten all weekend then home to the kids , roll on next year.

At the same time i got the sound of guns album, well i was well happy with the Arcade Fire album,. SoGs 1 i just cant stop listening to.

Cant wait to see them at Leeds , worth going down to the Arena early for.

urgh god, the toilet situation at a festival really is the bane of my life! Exactly the same happened to me last year, i missed a whole lot of a set cos i was queuing up for the toilets for soo long. reaally annoys me cos i bet my bladder only bloody holds like a cans worth, so im always waiting for em! :angry: I saw a woman with a 'she-wee' walk straight to a urinal and use that, whilst im stood plaiting my legs! im soooo not brave enough to use one of those things though....no way, haha! And quite frankly the thought of those long drops at leeds is scaring me to death!

Flippin eck, im ever so shocked that there's hardly any excitement and buzz going about this year on efestivals! Tis my first time on this in a while - this time last year there was all sorts of posts knocking about getting peeps revved up, like loads in a day. Think theres only been about two posts today (

Now im a newby to Leeds fest this year as im usually partial to abit of V, so i need to find the buzz to this festival.....pleeease! Whos gonna be top notch to see? what booze are you taking?
