  1. Typically canned artist / Fruit based comedians show
  2. From reading various things on here it seems the extra 10k attendance has been utilised, which means more staff/volunteers are needed. Stinklinch has taken up some of the extra general punters (and B&W has taken up the capacity from CVW which it replaced) so it’s meant more camping space needed for staff/volunteers. That’s what I’ve taken from the various posts I’ve read on here at least.
  3. Ok this was the San Remo stage, doesn’t look much to it really: https://www.instagram.com/p/BvwcNthn3uq/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=
  4. Trying to work out from the one picture in that article and various instagram posts which the San Remo stage was at the Beat Hotel Marrakesh, maybe it was this one:
  5. Oh FFS I was just getting back to doing some work
  6. I think my excitement has actually dipped a bit because although it’s close it’s not close enough that my mates want to plan too much yet and they aren’t that bothered about the area announcements like I am. Getting to May and it being next month was a big milestone, then it’s at least a month until it’s close enough they start to get engaged with it all.
  7. Random musing but how does A For Alpha come ahead of AAA Badboy alphabetically?
  8. That’s stacked, loads of acts I’ve picked up from here that people had hoped would turn up and they seemingly all have, plus plenty o knew already.
  9. Only certainty is Macca, even though I’d happily miss him but we have a first timer with us and I think they should see a Pyramid headliner. Would prefer to see Kendrick over Macca if I had to choose one personally but I know my group will have zero interest on seeing him.
  10. The theory is everything is starting earlier in case of covid delays, someone’s partner posted on here saying the fence build starts today, so hopefully sooner than Friday but you’d assume no later than Friday, especially as it’s now already Tuesday. Not sure what the point of posting all of that was other then watch this space I guess.
  11. You can do better sleuthing with this link as it’s higher res:
  12. Would also take 2015 weather, yes there was quite a big downpour around 4-6PM (ish) Friday, but it dried up very quickly afterwards and only really threatened to rain for the rest of the weekend.
  13. The sound is good at the back, so much so one of my mates chucks a strop if we ever want to watch a headliner on the other stage, as he says he’d rather watch any headliner on the Pyramid a even if he doesn’t like them because the sound is better.
  14. It will do if you mostly stick to just that, I’ve done it before when I’ve wanted to strip a bit of fat and lost weight in no time. Worth getting some of the My Protein stuff if you can catch it in stock as it’s much cheaper then Huel but essentially the same thing.
  15. I like Huel the powder (although my protein do an alternative that is cheaper) but their protein bars are absolutely awful taste wise and incredibly chewy. Could just bring a bag of that though I suppose, would be almost as easy. This is the My Protein alternative but it’s often out of stock (like now) https://www.myprotein.com/sports-nutrition/whole-fuel-blend/11314911.html
  16. I struggle with eating as well, so I used to take something like a load of grenade bars with me, if it’s any use they keep having loads of different offers on their site, including one for an additional 35% off using code GREBLC :https://www.grenade.com (not affiliated at all in anyway by the way, one of my mates sent me that code) Unfortunately they’re not vegan, so they’re no good to me anymore I can’t be arsed bringing any cooking gear with me and it could be several hours between waking up and leaving the tent and being in a position to eat something by the time you round everyone up. I tend to find on things like stag dos and festivals I actually lose weight because I don’t eat enough, so eating a couple of those when I woke up helped to prevent that, they’re about 370 calories each so eating two means I’m front loading a load of calories early on, then by the time we actually leave the tent I eat again but that is effectively lunch, then it’s just a case of trying to make myself have something else later on in the afternoon before I’m too pissed.
  17. It’s difficult to compare exactly due to different perspectives, they definitely looks bigger but the webcam says they aren’t:
  18. I’ve got these at home which I somehow ended up sacrificing knocking about the garden and walkout the dogs so might use them for Glastonbury: NIKE SB Air Max Janoski 2 Trainers Sneakers AQ7477 (Black/Black-Black-Black 004) https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08W9TL9X7/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_VFDRF159RJSA8D5PZAY2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
  19. I agree the tech looks dated, exacerbated further by the three year gap as well. As much as the newer screens benefit people further back, it’s just as much if not more about what it looks like on the BBC, and they will always want to be appealing to a new audience who haven’t been yet, so they definitely need to up their game either way. If you’re a young kid who went to Reading last year you won’t be that impressed watching on TV of it’s the same setup as 2019. Either way I love speculating on it too!
  20. The Pyramid is globally iconic so not that easy to get something like that on it. Obviously retaining the Pyramid shape is more important than the screens that go with it. It would be possible on some of the other stages but we also have the elements to consider here which shapes the design of the stages to some extent.
