  1. Nobody said they think it’s staying, we’re all just having a bit of fun speculating about what the alternatives to that might look like. You should try joining in.
  2. Yeah just that platform at the very bottom that you can see.
  3. It’s sat there for years without planning permission.
  4. Genius idea, you could attach the spider eyes to the cab so it could rotate around and point it’s lazer beams at everyone, then still have the ball projector thing underneath.
  5. You wouldn’t dig the foundations of the crane out while it’s still standing would you? I’m pretty sure that isn’t the order you’d do it? They appear to have just dug random holes. Surely the crane(s) would need to dismantle it first, and for that you’d need a load of trackway down, of which there is no sign yet.
  6. I stayed in Lovefields once due to not getting a ticket and managing to arrange one through them. They were lovely showers and never had a queue, but I only bothered having one. It was lovely at the time, but it was quite a hot year and before long I was sweating again and forgot I’d even had one.
  7. I enjoyed it too, seemed to get mostly awful ratings but I thought it was great.
  8. Totally agree with all that, plus to expand a bit further I’ve always exercised pretty much 5 times per week, but when I’ve wanted to lose weight and cut a bit, I’ve done carb cycling and it’s incredibly effective for me. Essentially it’s eating carbs around your exercise and then not having them for a small period which temporarily tricks your body into burning fat until you eat carbs again and so on. I mention it simply because as you’ve highlighted, it’s not necessarily about what you eat it’s when you eat it. Disclaimer: This isn’t necessarily right for everyone but it has always worked very well for me.
  9. You can always try a 5/2 scenario, stick to it religiously on the week and don’t worry so much on the weekends. Obviously progress will be slower but should still see benefits and it might be easier to stick with.
  10. I think you just have to be disciplined with it. If losing weight is the key then ideally you’d have it for three meals a day and the weight will drop off. If that’s too tough then maybe just two meals a day and try to avoid the snacking. It’s nutritionally complete so although you’ll feel hungry, it won’t be doing you any harm. I believe joey T was doing it for weight loss? I can’t remember his exact username to tag him in.
  11. I don’t think it is for dance festivals, I think the bigger named DJs would get even more. The vast majority of budget for any festival goes on the acts. I know for a fact these are the amounts he used to get as I used to deal with them directly.
  12. I’ve had to box up my perfect draft and stop using it. The most efficient way to buy kegs is 3 at a time which is bloody lethal for me, I’ve got no self control and end up drinking a whole keg in one night once I get started. I have to ration my booze now and only buy a few bottles or cans at a time 🤦🏻‍♂️
  13. Won’t say who but I used to have an DJ as a client in an old job, he’s not top tier but well known and respected. People not into house music probably never would’ve heard of him but those who are would. He used to get paid roughly 50k EUR or USD to do European or US festivals. Obviously Glastonbury couldn’t afford to pay all the bigger name DJs on the bill that much, then there was also that blog posted by Greg James saying the fee for Glastonbury was only a few hundred quid. I would guess some of the very top DJs do it for 5/10k max, if that.
  14. A 5000 venue would only sell 5000 tickets though, Glastonbury venues can have way more than their capacity trying to get in or around them if the act is too big.
  15. Very good value, let’s hope it’s nice.
  16. Also the venues are really too small for really big names, so it just becomes a bit pointless anyway.
  17. I’ve just spotted Micky Finn, think I’ve heard of him.
  18. First one where I’ve never heard of a single act.
  19. The first area announcement where I don’t know a single act on there.
  20. Just the shakes, the powder stuff. It’s just things like ground down peas etc, off the top of my head I think it’s got 28 ingredients, all vegan and in theory you can live off of it, a couple of scoops is the equivalent of about 500 calories (I think).
  21. It’s nutritionally complete so you shouldn’t have any issues doing it. I’ve had periods were I’ve more or less done the same thing, I like food but I don’t have a huge appetite so I’ve had weeks we’re I’ve had a normal breakfast then Huel for lunch and dinner. I’ve broken the habit now as it’s not a great way to live really, and part of the reason I went vegan was to be more varied with what I ate. But basically you won’t get scurvy through doing it!
  22. I’ve agreed to put a mates tent up too, which is slightly annoying as we’ve already got a big tent as it is so it will reduce our options for where we camp. On the pluside we’ll have a bigger group for our base camp.
  23. Was Lewis Capaldi a secret in there in 2019? all I know is we happened to be sitting outside the tent chilling for a bit and then all of a sudden thousands of people descended on it and he started performing.
  24. What’s your source on the generator? What stage are the playing? I thought we had them nailed on for Friday mid afternoon JP?
  25. We’ve had the worlds biggest peace sign, maybe we could have the worlds longest conga?
