Loved the perseverance through the techie problems. Watched it again tonight (was at the v front live) and they got me going again. Unplugged set would be amazing.

For the record 2022 will take some beating for me. Had an amazing time all round and I don't care to try and find things to moan about. Life is too short. The only thing I need to remember next time is to check just how hot the Sweet and Sour Chicken is that I will inevitably consume in the early hours of the morning. My mouth still hasn't recovered and the only relief was to drink even more beer (shame). Safe travels.

I've wondered about this and why it feels like it does. I think there is an element of people being more chilled and nice to each other because people are chilled and nice in return (generally) rather than wanting to screw you over at every possible opportunity, sort of a virtuous circle. There is also, for me, the break from reality that should in fact be our reality. The only other place I've been to that made me feel remotely the same was a Buddhist retreat in Scotland but that was a bit lacking in entertainment 🙂

Post Glasto update - I'd go solo again in a heartbeat. Had an amazing time, never once felt lonely or anxious, met a lot of fantastic people. Interestingly, didn't meet any other solo people.

In no order (I can't split them) Kae Tempest on Thursday, Idles on the Other, Wet Leg. I finally got to see Idles and was blown away.

137k Wed-Sun and more on Tuesday. Feet shredded, hips and back complaining quite a bit 🙂

Done loads of exercise and drank a lot of beer. Just need the sleep deprivation now 😆😆

I'll be in a VW Transporter which is black and bright green.

Macca with the Bootleg Beetles in the acoustic tent?

This will be the fifth time for me but first time on my Jack Jones. My other half found our last visit too much and I wasn't going to go this time. But, when helping people get tickets I had this overwhelming desire to go and got a ticket. I'm sure in previous years I've seen an EFestivals meet up or something similar - anything like that happening this year? Also any other tips for a solo visit would be most welcome. I'm in camper vans east so will be on site from Tues mid day ish. Cheers.
