    They play like 10 hits out of the 16 songs but usually almost all of them are at the beginning and the end. The middle is usually deep(er) cuts and new songs which loses the crowd and then they finish strong with Californication/Give it Away/Under The Bridge/By The Way

    I'm pretty sure they are losing a lot of people because the ticket price is 335€ with all fees with only a few truly big acts. It doesn't seem okay to pay that much to watch bands that would play in a 150-500 venues otherwise

    Damn. I wonder what's the price for a festival ticket that people would be prepared to pay. I guess they don't want to risk it with a 110€ ticket or something without the help of the city

    I see they started announcing genre by genre this week. They had a drum n bass announcement for Chase & Status yesterday and today it's an EDM one with Alesso, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Claptone and Sofi Tukker and something else tomorrow. Hopefully it won't be just trash DJs like today, give me at least some good ones lol

    We had like 2 months ago an update on ticket sales from some insider from the festileaks forum that people posted here. If I remember correctly saturday was the best selling day with Muse and OATW

    All the good songs on the album are those written only by themselves, those several songs in the 2nd part of the album. I hope they stop using pop producers from now on

    So were supposed to have - Stromae, RATM, Billie Eilish, AM, QOTSA, Muse, OATW and someone else instead of Liam as the top 8?

    I definitely agree that the lineups are now worse than before but I don't think it's because of the reasons you mentioned. There are almost no one hit wonders and names for the tiktok crowd, from everyone announced only Gayle fits that I think with her abcdefu song

    Do you camp? Is the camp any cleaner in the last few years, I've been there in 2016 and that's mainly the reason I didn't want to go back. It was really disgusting by the 3rd day and I've camped all around Europe. I hate that stupid drinking game with a ball and a can of beer in the middle of two groups.

    They had to pull 2 big exclusives this year. I guess this was their Plan G for the year after everything else fall apart

    I don't think RHCP will play Graspop either. I'm just saying it wouldn't be that leftfield of a booking. Within Temptation is a pop band these days and they headline every 3 years. People went crazy when Alestorm played Hangover by Taio Cruz last year lol It's not some underground event where a band like RHCP wouldn't have a huge crowd

    I think it happened because the headliners, Die Toten Hosen complained. I guess it's a bit different in Germany and Phil Anselmo being a racist won't be forgotten They tour with Metallica and Slipknot and a lot of other bands don't care

    Not that Axl is an amazing singer in 2023 but to me it really seemed like he was holding back a lot and didn't try to sing loud at the beginning and it sounded bad, he figured out what to do after a minute or so.

    I'm looking at their 2018-2019 tour and it doesn't seem like they played huge places in Europe and it doesn't seem they were high on the lineups at all either Last time in Spain (as far as I can see) - you can't even find them on the poster

    80% of his voice is completely shot. He can still sing low and he can still scream very well so Welcome to the Jungle scream is still going to be there
