Yes that's what I don't understand...going by previous years there'll be about five minutes between sets, so that's a hell of lot of people legging it from one stage to another. I understand it's the same every year (with second stage headliner finishing a few minutes before main stage headliner starts), but seems like a very similar demographic who would be there specifically to see both bands. However, I'm no festival planning expert so I'm sure they know what they're doing.

Surely the majority of people who would see Bombay Bicycle Club would also see Foals, so why not just stick them on the same stage one after another... Not that I really care, was planning on seeing Caribou and Foals so suits me fine.

I thought Caribou would be a shoe-in for headlining the second stage.

My worst nightmare.

I'm hoping for a day when they release every bit of info they can all at once, including day splits and stage times.

Will be my first sober multi-day festival too; 15 months sober here. Used to drink myself into oblivion, now I will most likely even be running each morning at the site. Really looking forward to the experience. Would be up for a coffee at the festival if you're interested 😊

I would hope they get at least one replacement in; must be pretty standard for these festivals to have a 'subs bench' at the moment.

Would have loved to have seen them on the Garden Stage again; that set they did in 2019 was mesmerising. Still, will be a great start to the weekend no matter what stage they're on 🙂

It sounds shallow, but that pretty much is all it takes to justify the extra cost. Have done boutique the last couple of years and it was basically off the back of me saying to my girlfriend that there is a tent with plug sockets.

If there's no glamping tent this year, we riot. Can't beat relaxing on those sofas in the morning.

It's a completely useless figure without knowing how many attendees have actually submitted results, negative or positive. Is it 20 out of 100 people? 20 out of 10,000? You can never even prove whether any of these people actually caught it at the festival either.

Fair enough, cheers. Interesting that there is a different gate this year for boutique camping...do we get our own car park? 😮

Did anyone get their car park ticket? It says in the email it will be attached, but I only got my festival ticket as an attachment.

I may have dreamt this but aren't Black Midi exclusive to Wide Awake? I know they're playing Green Man but maybe as that's in Wales... As I said I may have dreamt this or made it up in my head.

Day splits will be announced next Thursday, mark my words. (Disclaimer - this is an optimistic guess)

I would be absolutely shocked if they cancelled now.

I've seen Shame many times, from when they first started out in tiny venues to seeing them play some large festival slots and they never fail to put on a great show. Charlie Steen is an amazing frontman...it would be easy to dismiss him at-a-glance as another shouty angry young man, but he's a great wordsmith and a fantastic artist all round who excels at engaging with the crowd. I think his career will be very interesting over the years.

Days splits must surely be released by next friday when the twickets resale starts...

Just Mustard were great, as were Bdrmm later in the day. Both bands made a lovely amount of noise.

I liked The Alcove. Saw Weird Milk and Liz Lawrence in there yesterday, both got great reactions - felt more like small gigs than festival sets.

I must be lucky or good at avoiding crowded areas - longest I've queued is about two minutes at a burger stall. Very impressed with the phone reception here as well.
