  1. No leaks flying around? Thread is usually quiet for announcement countdown. what ever happened to the Dan fella that leaked it every year?
  2. I’m in for this too. when the f**k did parking get to £56. It used to be £20/25 for Green parking in 2014-2019
  3. The pricing for this is hard to follow. But the “loyalty” does not include a discount, it’s only a presale barclaycard + loyalty presale - £325 w/ Early entry - £361 Barclaycard payment plan seems cheapest at 4 payments of 73.12, 73.12, 73.12, 73.14. By my maths that’s the cheapest option at £292.50
  4. The Saturday is unbelievable value for money now. 1975 and The Killers. After previously deciding I wouldn’t be going back this year, I bought a ticket instantly when I saw the announcement.
  5. At the manned barriers to the front section
  6. The side to the right of the stage by the toilets. we got there 25 mins before 1975 started and it was already closed. Based on previous experience at reading and download, I’ve never had a problem
  7. Keen to understand what the entry policy is for the front section. the gate staff have no clue. we were waiting on the barrier for about 45m-1hr last night. It’s certainly not 1in 1out as people were leaving for the toilet constantly, and there was only 10-20 people waiting on the barrier. the killer part is you can see huge gaps at the back of the section. insult to injury, they would randomly open barriers to let people in who have just arrived. But people waiting there were told tough luck. aside from that, Pulp smashed it on Saturday and unsurprisingly, 1975 took a step further and raised the bar even further last night.
  8. Had busted as a secret set the last time I attended in 2019
  9. Do these guys have any other band phone numbers in their contact list? didn’t touch community last year because I was bored of seeing the same bands from Reading. Definitely won’t be touching this one either - unless free tickets come up!
  10. This tour was completely sold out if I remember right
  11. Been a long time coming with gig prices. Few that I’ve looked into buying just aren’t realistic anymore to purchase them all.. I used to go to at least a gig a month and regularly do arena and stadium gigs.. but now they add up to a mouth watering amount of money compared to 5-10 years ago.
  12. Definitely agree. She’s a household name for teenagers since WAP was released. couldn’t tell you any other songs by her. However I’m very much not in the above category of teenager.
  13. I suppose this comes down to your own opinion. Pretty sure she couldn’t sell out Brixton, meanwhile Sam Fender has just sold out back to back dates at St James’ Park. MGK is currently on a sold out arena tour + Hasn’t KSI also sold out arenas recently?
  14. Reminder that MTS headlined this year..
  15. Didn’t see both the supports, second one - Ian dior I believe? Was on from 7:30 to 8:15ish. MGK had a long set, around 30 songs. Came on at 8:45, and ran over curfew until around 11. Curfew was 10:30, so should’ve been 1hr45 set
  16. Agree, very entertaining. The reason why I say it was pretty much a self confirm - he said it unprompted, out of the blue. I’m sure he finished the sentence with “we’ll see what we can do” or something similar. Very weird thing to say if you’ve not been booked to headline
  17. MGK pretty much self confirmed a headline slot tonight on stage at Wembley
  18. Could easily do R+L amongst a handful of stadium dates and it wouldn’t stand out as odd. Day tickets would sell out instantly
  19. Good point. Replace Paramore with maybe.. Doja Cat or.. randl will mix it up and get Eminem back for the 3rd time in 10 years. only reason for dropping paramore is they’re the ones who haven’t done a big comeback tour yet. Will probably have their own dates first based on their last album release tour
  20. 1975, P!ATD MCR, Kasabian Kendrick, Paramore cant see Two door getting the bump up. And is Lil nas x relevant enough with the RandL crowd? I’m not sure. He’s massively popular, mind
  21. Like others I’d much rather a hybrid between R&L and Download some of the metal oriented suggestions here are too download esq for me. (Been to download a few times) id like to see a complete mix up between the indie, metal etc that we get at both festivals.
  22. Second this. campsites we’re filled with c**ts this year. Launching anything and everything, and jumping into tents we usually leave Monday morning, but we’ve headed off tonight because of how unsafe the atmosphere feels
  23. That’s really odd. Had a 49minute call to it yesterday afternoon.
  24. I used 0161 217 8516. Was a ballache to find that. Unsure why it’s so hidden from their website. got my barcodes sorted within 24hrs of calling.
  25. Sorry I didn’t make clear, I meant from a reunion ticket demand POV beatles = impossible for obvious reasons. People still see Macca but I wouldn’t say he’s that “in demand” amongst young population Led zep.. I’ll give you that. Reunion would be huge. Though again. I don’t know a single person under the age of 30 who would care Stones = been and done, still actively touring, not that hard to get tickets did chuckle at the suggestion of the smiths being bigger than oasis though. Maybe in the north. I’m unsure.
