  1. Out of curiosity I checked the equivalent day on the Reading website and that's even more of a mess, so who knows.
  2. I don't know what it's like on the app (Android user, so not got it yet) but on the Leeds website the times don't seem right for the Friday (the only day I'm going, so the only one I've checked much). They've got the last act starting at 6.05 and on other days the last act starts around 7.45. The spacing between the acts is all over the place, and they are listing FFSYTHO on the Saturday on the line up page, but Friday on the poster (and Alife Indra still on the poster but not on the line up). It's probably low priority for them to sort it, but probably worth seeing the final confirmed schedule before reading too much into there being multiple secret sets (the long gap mid afternoon still seems most likely).
  3. Blood Wizard tweet that they are playing first on the Woods (rather than last in the Tipi which has been assumed so far)?
  4. They will probably have known about jdxn before yesterday though, so it doesn't rule it out. Plus I can't see them putting any of the first three on the FR, so if there are two sets on the FR that day its either Jake Bugg + one other (if that shaky rumour is true) or two names completely out of the blue.
  5. The festival has caused the confusion on the Bait slot - on the line up page on the website it has always stated that it would be in the cinema tent (and describing it specifically as the first live score in the cinema tent) but on the day splits poster they have shown it as opening the Big Top.
  6. Without too much of a detour to get there too...although it would mean five nights on the trot. You never know though - Laura Marling did an additional solo secret set at Green Man. Re The Murder Capital (like Self Esteem) they are doing London Friday and Warrington Saturday, so it would be a hike back down just for a secret set (as an official replacement might have been a different matter - I was convinced Self Esteem would come off the subs bench when they did last week's replacements).
  7. (ignore, already posted upthread!)
  8. Also a suitable gap between Bakar and Girl in Red, for both Leeds and Reading - though I think that happened a few years ago on FR with the timing of the headliner and nothing materialised.
  9. Wouldn't read too much into it, every year they have bands doing DJ sets and it doesn't usually translate into the band itself playing (though probably an indicator that they'll play next year). Let's Eat Grandma haven't played live yet this year, if they were active and willing they could have taken some of the replacement slots that festivals have been desperate to fill.
  10. A few years ago at Leeds, once we'd got in and tents pitched etc, my daughter produced a full bedroom mirror* out of her backpack and proceeded to do her make up. I didn't know of this smuggling operation beforehand, maybe just as well! *like one you'd get on a dresser I mean, not a full length one!
  11. I'd like to add my thanks as well (before I forget in the lead-in to the festival itself), the playlist has been a godsend in trying to keep up with the changing line up and the "democratic" approach means it isn't just swamped by tracks from the big acts.
  12. The Golden Dregs should be a soothing start to Saturday.
  13. Only five acts shown on the Woods on Friday. Also Broadside Hacks not listed - they are made up of members of other acts playing, so could be a late night set but they have always appeared on the website as a billed act in themselves.
  14. Great find! Teleman are new, and I think Blood Wizard and Soccer96?
  15. It shown as such on the music line up page, and I think it always has been, so not sure why they are billing it as a mystery now! GWENNO & ANGHARAD DAVIES Cornish-Welsh musician and Welsh Music Prize winner Gwenno Saunders has been a trailblazer in many ways – and she will continue this trend as the first musician to perform in the cinema tent. She will perform her newly created live score for the film Bait alongside Angharad Davies.
  16. So this week we've had announcements for : Site map, Tue 5pm Comedy/literature, Wed 2pm Cinema, Thu 2pm Do we think day splits and/or latest replacements tomorrow 2pm? Or still too early to finalise yet? (beaten to it / great minds think alike etc!)
  17. The dates starting next week are the smaller venue album launch shows rearranged from the when Ultra Mono came out, plus single day festivals.
  18. IDLES couldn't be any more active, they start a UK tour on Monday (with a gap over R&L weekend).
  19. Haim's tour moved to summer 2022, Ireland on 28 June and not in UK until 13 July, so looking likely to appear back on the line up here (and NOS Alive)
  20. Continuing the random day split spots on social media: The Golden Dregs - 4th (announced a tour this morning and EOTR date was on it)
  21. If it is the same layout as usual, Brown camp will be the calmest - it is furthest away from the arena, has least through-traffic and no late night music nearby. This year's ticket sales mean it will be busier than usual, but it should still be the most "sensible" - the big groups want to be as close to the arena (and the late night entertainment) as possible. The flipside however is that it is quite a hike to the arena. But mass burning of tents is a thing of the past, so things would really have to go sideways for that to be an issue.
  22. Willy Tea Taylor also the 3rd - EOTR isn't shown on his website but he has Hove on the 2nd and Newton Abbot on the 4th.
  23. Katy J Pearson - 3rd (which suggests Broadside Hacks are also on the 3rd because she is at another festival on the 4th)
  24. Not when they are headlining a festival for a rival promoter on the same weekend. I know it's the Monday and technically they are free but contractually it's not likely.
