Was lost for words after my first Shambala....you lot really are beautiful!
A truly special space in every aspect and shows exactly how it should be done..
So diverse and creative and we met so many lovely people.
No litter, everyone packing up their tents, great food, and wonderful memories!

Anyone know what the resell situation is through ticketsellers? Noticed you can change the details on the ticket....
Friend can't make it and not sure I fancy it solo, gutted as it's one I have wanted to go to for ages!

Already bought tickets for next year, nice to have an event I’m desperate to go to without tday stress
It's actually aliviated the pressure for me. I can't afford to do both year on year and actually have more fun at Boom.

Has firmly become my favourite festival, what a weekend. I think they smashed it....felt like they ramped up again.
Found it varied enough but there is no escape down in that bowl, like a beast that cannot be tamed!
Spent alot of time at grand Central/engine room/fools leap this year, also managed to get round and see alot of randomness as always. Tribe of frogs and Tangled is always brilliant.
Not sure I would justify Orchid again, nice to have a shower but is it more spacious? Probably not.
Already commited and jumped on priority tickets dropped today for next year!
Overall it isn't a cheap one but taking all into account they didn't hold back!

A cold shower in the middle of last year’s heatwave might have been worth £90!
What a scorcher that was - I almost passed out crossing site to pitch...
A lot struggled in that heat, no escape from it at campsites...

I camped there last year. There’s showers and it’s flat but nothing else going for it. No entertainment and only 2 food stalls with massive queues so have to walk down to the next campsite area for a coffee.
Cheers MM, I did wonder whether it was worth the 90 quid!

Just booked a camp orchid ticket.
Anyone camped there before, any entertainment up there like in the villages last year?

Is the line up release today?

My first time this year and really excited for this one. It's been on my radar for a while and can finally make it happen.
Has massively taken the edge off of missing Glastonbury this year, and I am looking forward to a more relaxed vibe given the smaller scale.....
Also have Boomtown to look forward to, August is going to fun!

What we need is a decent alternative to run on the same weekend, so us last minute stragglers can get a fix!
Looking at the calendar, doesn't look like much clashes?

A strange feeling to be on the other side of the fence for the first time since 2013, that's for sure.
Tuned in to Radio 6 - that just made me so nostalgic.....looked at the webcam - big mistake.
Have an amazing 5 days each and every one of you, going to be a struggle.....

I will be there, really enjoyed it again this year. Probably go as far as saying it's my fav now.
Expect an increase in ticket pricing as per latest Comms.
Loved the "if you left your crap behind, don't bother coming back" message. Too right!

Not sure if I'm able to download videos from FB. I'll try screen record on my phone and if it works, will post here. Will take a while gue to rural Somerset steam driven Internet.
Thanks buddy, but honestly no probs if it's a pain.
I didn't experience any trouble with the bars so a bit ignorant to it all....

Lak just released a vid on FB about this year's BT and current state of play and the future. Don't think that I can post it here but search Lak Mitchell on FB and it should be there.
Any chance you can send it privately Sawdust, I don't have FB

"People listen to Coldplay & voted for the Nazi's, you can't trust people Jez".
I kid, I don't hate them (in fact I don't hate any artist), I just feel indifferent towards them now. I actually liked the earlier stuff, Rush of Blood & Viva were decent enough.Simple at a festival right, don't like them off you pop. Never understood people starting petitions like when Metallica played, probably people who weren't even going in the first place!

I keep thinking back to how bloody good this festival was. I'd always heard comparisons to Glastonbury and thought it was over blown but it really does make the SE corner look tame and boring. 🤣
Agree - not sure the two can be compared but I find myself far more absorbed at Boom.
I have decided to drop out of the Glastonbury pool next year, I want to finally get to Greenman and I am not missing Boom.....so random, so fun, so edgy. I loved this year and already counting down the days! -
What a fucking party.
The End.

Not so much a word for word conversation but I overheard a steward talking to someone about a live tortoise being handed into one of the gates that she was on duty at and what they might do about this situation!
I heard all about this story up at Oxfield 🤣

Correct yes, not the early Wed option.
You can use the add ons on their site if you wish to.
I've just had a confirmation it's been taken, I hope you have a blast 🙂

Hi Gabriella, my friend couldn't make it. See official link below.

I do Boomtown too....but hearing lots of good things about Shambala, I may try that one next year.

Tiny tea tent was still in it's usual place I think, didn't stop by this year.
