A friend of the wife’s claimed on Facebook to know of 20 people in her “network” (read private anti vax echo chamber groups) who have died from the vaccine in the last few months. I replied that I didn’t know 20 people who had died from any cause in the last 10 years. As she was the link I asked if she was actually a closet serial killer. Didn’t go down well. For context I’ve tried having grown up discussions over and over with this person, but every time I refute their claims with facts, there’s an awful grinding noise as the goalposts get dragged to a new position. I just take the piss now.

I keep seeing this thread pop up, so last night I bit the bullet and actually played some of her music.... I really liked it 😊

What if? Ep3... Well! I found that much, much better than the first two. The story was much more interesting and coherent, not just a string of greatest hits loosely tied together like before* The framing of the visuals and artwork was wonderful in places, although I still can’t get on with the animation style, especially with the faces. Thoroughly enjoyed this one. *other opinions are available, and I’m happy that other folks enjoyed 1 and 2 more than I did.

Not last to play there, but I remember Bon Jovi flogging tickets on Groupon in 2013.

Tyler, The Creator I got an e-mail earlier with presale info, he’s in OZ/NZ a month after Glasto. So, I googled other dates and first thing that came up was Songkick showing European dates a couple of weeks before Glasto. Hmmm.... Not sure how reliable the songkick info is though.

Just found this while looking for something for the little one, some effed up shizzle, love it. Little one is not allowed to watch it though after a few of the scenes though.... Muppets meets Tarantino meets Raimi.

Was quite nice as background music while I was busy in the kitchen. Not gonna bother my playlist rotation much though. “A bit meh” was Mrs Moth’s input.

Lorde is a national treasure in NZ. I guess I better play the darn thing to make up my own mind 🙂

I really can’t get on with the animation style, but I had hopes for this episode. However to me it just came across like the writers room came up with 378 Easter eggs, then just as the meeting was finished the office junior piped up with “shouldn’t we have a story to link these things”. I’ll be handing my geek badge in at reception on the way out 😆

I just heard. I had no idea he was ill, genuinely shocked. One of my fave tv comedians. Never saw one of his stand up shows.

Godiva is a great little festival, used to be free. The drawback however, is it’s all funded by the council, arts funds or some such which means limited funds so even the headliners were restricted to 30-40 minutes. Could all be different now of course, been a few years since I last went.

Twisting words there a bit aren’t you? I never said missing family is not important and to stop whinging about it. I didn’t come close to mentioning those things. For the record most of my family is in the UK, but I’m not gonna share my thoughts on that on here. I was referencing your points of the NZ government being tyrannical and power mad, which is objectively false. But if you have to jump tracks to save face and avoid acknowledging that some horseshit you’ve spouted has been called out, then carry on. I’ll not be losing any sleep over it 🤪

Barring the odd week, we’ve had over 12 months of beaches, bars, gigs, sports, holidays... the tyranny is really becoming unbearable.

Oh.... that pile of dog poop 🤣 Nah different premise, the two things don’t share the same source material and aren’t remotely alike. The TV show has quality acting, interesting characters, intelligent script, intriguing sense of mystery, effective shocks, emotional heft... The unrelated movie has... erm... Nic Cage eating scenery.

Film? There is no film, only the TV series which is absolutely terrific.
