    I’d forgotten EJ did Live 8, so I have seen him after all, although I have no memory of his performance. Saw GnR shortly after Slash and the other one returned in 2017. Incredible show that ran with none of the ‘hitches’ so often remarked on. Had a brilliant time. Friends reported their December gigs were great too. Not seen AM.

    You’ve hit the nail on the head there. Good on record, but live… oh my what a party. Such energy as they jam and free form through their catalogue. Good value too, $40 (£20) and they played for over 1 hour 40min. Might go again when they pass back this way in a week or two.

    2013 resale fail (last fest I didn’t attend, did Bilbao BBK instead) 2014 resale success ! 2015-2020 (2022 rollover) Main sale success 2022 coach resale success for Mrs Moth within 90 seconds, general resale success for friends partner within 5 minutes. 2023 fingers crossed for resale as we had payment page crash disaster in main sale.

    Superb! Khruangbin were incredible too. Especially liked the cheeky little fills they did between songs, psychedelic reworkings of old school hip hop, Tina Turner etc.

    Eurythmics said to be reuniting for a world tour! An appearance by them would be legendary whatever slot they were given. Just maybe… if it’s not a cash grab tour?

    My main gripe, without wanting to give any spoilers, is that I wanted this series to have a self contained, satisfying conclusion, not be setting up spin offs. I felt it a disservice to these characters story arcs.

    Just in case any one needs more reason to feel disgusted at Qatar hosting this World Cup, it’s the main story on the latest “Last Week Tonight”. Paints a grim picture.

    See just kept fobbing us off, even after they released extra coach tickets after the general tickets went on sale. My brother came through for us and delivered mini moth by car.

    Love this show, plus you’ll have the benefit of three seasons b2b, rather than endure the looooong Covid induced gap between S2 and S3.
