Danced next to Marcus Brigstocke in The Gulley once. He had less rhythm than me but he was having a right old time of it

You bit quicker than I thought you would 😄
  3. Calgon claimed to have seen Swift knocking around the cider bus / longdrops / other festival landmark (story changed day to day) in 2019 before she was announced for 2020. Called her as a headliner after that and never let anyone forget it.

Still dining out on that one
  5. Put my tongue in cheek comment firmly in its place 😉😂 That does sound lovely tbh, always nice to share a gig with special ppl
  6. Is the music acceptable though? Or do you enjoy it because it's him, but it's actually making your ears bleed?
  7. No major surprises. Moby's All Visible Objects has been my primary go to album when I've needed to get some work done. My task for 2024 is to find RCBF's #1 fan and have it out with them

Yep, one of the best things I saw at the farm full stop.
  9. Only if they let him play the cars at WG like a giant percussion set
  10. Haven't listened to the new one yet, need to give that a spin
  11. I love metal, but tbh I found an entire festival of it just a bit too much. Obviously loads of sub genres and styles, but overall there wasn't the variety that I want from a fest. Having said that, Hellfest looks crazy good and I'd be willing to give my theory a test...
  12. They were the support act for FAK when I saw them in Brighton. All 5 of them on stage doing harmonies for the encore was the stuff of dreams
  13. Not quite a GSH but Staves are touring next summer. Tricky one to place, reckon they'd do well in the Park or on Avalon, maybe even Acoustic. https://x.com/thestaves/status/1729077701879996732?s=20
  14. Nah, Spector are well under the radar. Be typical if they play the year I'm not going!
  15. Personal Trainer just left me a bit cold tbh. I know ppl rave about them a bit and I can see what they're up to, but didn't do much for me!
  16. Third gig of the week on Saturday, knackered now! Dub Pistols supported by Barefoot Bandit. BB were decent fun, if you like Gentlemen's Dub Club then they'd probably be up your street. Nice shift from reggae to latino rhythms in the tracks, good fun. Pistols were...well they were the Dub Pistols! I knew exactly what I'd get, and didn't disappoint. Sometimes you just want to go to a gig knowing full well you'll enjoy it, even if you've seen pretty much the same set a dozen times before. Hit the spot.
  17. I like one photo from a gig to go in my folder as it's nice to have one visual reminder as a trigger for happy times. But that's my lot. The filming thing I will never get, not really. Saw Soft Play supporting Prodigy on Monday, and as soon as they came into the crowd for walkabout all you could suddenly see was phone screens. The guys are right there in front of you, just get involved! Remember having to steam in watching Vintage Trouble at BDs a few years back because Ty's crowdsurf was about to go tits up as everyone was filming and no-one was there to carry him. Ended up with maybe 2 of us holding him up before enough people realised and put their phones down to join in!
  18. Lovely stuff. I expected him to finish with Take Off, was a little disappointed as I love that track but the solo was a lovely alternative
  19. Nah definitely not @Gnomicidein that case. 2 penguins max.
  20. We were waiting on 3 of our group to get emails. In the end I contacted See to check my order and asked them to resend the emails via the customer contact form. Everyone then got theirs in about 5 mins. https://glastonbury.seetickets.com/customerservice/checkorder Will be booking reference (not registration number) and email address
  21. Yep, BC Camplight was pretty damn good last night. Not been a massive listener so went in a little bit cold without too many expectations and had a blast. You're in for a good night @mario man
  22. Cool, sounds good! Traditional pre-gig visit to What The Pitta ticked off @balti-pie 😁
  23. +1 for Prodigy, saw them in Brighton on Monday night. Agree with @Supernintendo Chalmers that Maxim does a grand old job, but it definitely misses Keith as a frontman if only to share the job between them. To be fair to Maxim his vocals are still really strong, didn't miss a beat. And they sound absolutely immense. The tribute to Keith was right in the feels as well, think that effectively retiring Firestarter is a classy move. Setlist wasn't an issue for me, love that it was quite Jilted Generation-heavy although I would have liked a bit more from Fat Of The Land. Their Law probably my highlight. BC Camplight tonight!
  24. Yes pal, all good. Had a big summer this year with the RWC in France so need to save some pennies! Decided it'd be far easier to just opt out rather than get a ticket and then face the prospect of having to return it in April because I don't have the readies. If anything I'll probably end up at BDs at the end of the summer, bit cheaper and longer to save for it! Opening a bar this year. No Klingons.
