For anyone who was on the Zoom Steward training yesterday afternoon with Andy, has your Oxfam profile under training now got a mark against it or still ticked as complete?
I filled in their feedback questionnaire and answered the 3 picture rounds so just hoping my attendance was logged 🙂 cheers

Congrats to everyone who got a place this morning !!!
Like others I’ve being sat on proceed for the last 2 weeks refreshing half hourly somehow wasn’t online this morning when this latest batch were released 😢😪
It’s unreal….had an Oxfam place in 2020 which was obviously lost during the Covid years, missed out on tickets for last year and then in November got through to payment verification multiple times but was failed at the seetickets end after being a click away from tickets then and now can’t catch a break here 🥲
It’s starting to feel like I’ll never make it back and I’ve done something to upset the glasto gods 😅
Had mentally checked out from going this year as it’s been a barren few weeks on the Oxfam front but now I’ve been pulled back in 🤞🏼
Also got 1 of the spots this evening at 22:22 ☺️🙏🏼😮💨 distill came through for me
can’t quite believe it!!! I can finally say I’m going to Glastonbury :))

Given your experience, if you are able, get two non-Glasto festivals booked in with Oxfam and get on the priority list next year.
That’s true and I’ve certainly considered it…but it’s just not feasible this year due to other commitments. So as ever it’s Glasto or bust unfortunately 🙂

How strict upon entry are they with their completely unreasonable alcohol policy?
on the website says limited to no spirits, 1 bottle of wine or 8 cans of lager per person on first admittance to site … is this Woodstock 99 🤔🤑
Is it more relaxed when there or will everyone likely be subject to a search?

Had got a ticket in the resale my first year 2015. Started reading on here during the lead up & smaller stage poster drops which lead me to my first headliner.
After the early evening vibes of Caribou I left all my friends up at the park before SFA and made my way (not quite sure where I was going) to the Avalon for Manchester electronic/trip hop duo Lamb.
The atmosphere walking down the railway track that first evening of music was electric, like everything had fallen into place and I was just right where I belong.
By the time Lamb performed ‘Gabriel’ I was already a little emotional...knowing only at Glastonbury could you have such an experience - and I’ve had many more of those moments since -
Absolutely made up with this - agree with everyone that the sunset slot will be a treat ✨✨
she has re-invented herself with the return of Honey and looks like she really brings it live
any setlist with that honey / indestructible medley will be a party and would hope she’ll turn up somewhere in Bloc 9 after
this performance of ‘Dancing On My Own’ from Jools the other year really has everything

Only been in the Downlow a couple of times, and never on Fri/Sat/Sun. but I'd say that you would be fine to get in with those plans.
Park and JPT will have finished by then, so there will be a fair few already free and heading for the SEC, plus of course the hardcore who are down there already, but The Cure, CATQ and Janelle should give you a good enough head start. She'll be popular mind, and early enough for the tired to try for the Downlow for one last hurrah.
You can always join me at Genosys for Josh Wink The Master
Ben
Brilliant thanks a lot for that Ben, hopefully with a bit of efficiency & luck we should be okay !
Josh Wink & Max Cooper are certainly on the clashfinder as strong back up options ?
if we do manage to get in the Downlow the next challenge is pulling ourselves out to catch the last hour of Karenn ...
will have to try and leave enough in the tank for this which isn't going to be easy, especially with the big hitters across the site on Thursday night

If we left the cure early around 11 would that leave enough time to get into Downlow by 12:30 for The Black Madonna? ??
never seen her or been in the downlow before so seems a perfect chance...

this man has long gone
Moz’s career really has been carcrash from 2011 onwards and it couldn’t happen to a nicer bloke.
As those failed Manchester gigs last summer showed, he’s finished in the UK now.
Johnny Marr is everything a former Smith should be in 2019 and I look forward to celebrating his music on the farm next month
