That's a bit of a piss take. I get not allowing people to select specific seats in order to speed up the process to reduce room for error, but at least let people select blocks broad areas? The seating categories are way too broad IMO.

Should have mentioned yesterday, but I was 1,100 in the queue and when I got through, front left was sold out. We got front right no problems, but at least half of the front standing was gone. I'd guess if you're beyond 2,000, front standing might be a struggle.

Mine came through immediately.

Great to see so much success! This pre sale seems to be a bit of a breeze 🤔
-
I whacked on Long Live and spent the morning dancing yesterday. I highly recommend 😀
-
Double edge sword init. Applaud the spirit but if you don't camp overnight you're going to be nowhere near the front.
-
No golden circle at all, or it's sold out?

Is there actually any need for that IP software to be turned on for a fan pre-sale? The vast majority with codes will be fans looking for tickets, I can't imagine too many scalpers uses bots signed up for the code (even if they did they can only get 4 tickets per card/billing address), and there's no way to access it without a code. It's just causing more headaches.

Simply reading and digesting the information sent to you gives you a bonus in getting in demand tickets 😅
-
Good luck gang. Bring it home!

I'd love to know this data. I have no idea. We need to find out who was the latest in the queue to still get tickets to get a rough idea how many they're selling per date, extrapolate that across all the dates and then estimate the avg tickets bought per code.
-
It's a weird situation. I won't be trying again anyway, partly because I've just spunked £300 on front standing tickets and partly just in case they play silly buggers.
-
Yeah there’s no chance they can cancel tickets based off those FAQs. Can you imagine cancelling the tickets of Swifties after how insanely in demand this tour is? They’d be burning the TM offices to the ground.
-
I actually agree the code should only be used once. Theoretically I could pick up two more tickets and sell them off for 5 times face value, which is completely against the spirit of limiting the codes/registrations in the first place. But they can't enforce something that they haven't stipulated anywhere prior to the sale.
-
I'm not sure if they'd have a leg to stand on. It doesn't explicitly say you can't do that in the FAQs. The only reference is to 4 tickets per household. It would be easy enough to deactivate the code after a purchase. Can't see how they could really cancel another order if you've still just got the 4 tickets.
-
Why have they shortlisted so many people when presumably there’s only around 160,000 tickets available? It’s a much smaller venue isn’t in in Paris. There’s zero benefit in shortlisting so many people beyond the maximum available tickets.
-
Crikey. Paris was my first choice but I didn’t get selected. Relieved the pre sale pulled through. I guess being the first shows in Europe a lot are looking to travel in.
-
Yeah you can. I got 2 tickets at 11am, logged back on around 4pm and was able to select more tickets can get through to the payment screen. No error when I re-entered the presale code. It actually let me add 4 more tickets, but I wouldn’t chance that as they’re very clear about maximum 4 per household and cancelling tickets if anyone goes over that.

Wow those maps are amazing @Suprefan. The diamond is where it’s at then. I quite like how much she makes use of the stage, you’re going to get a good view of the action for at least some portion of the show wherever you are. My main point with GA standing if you end up near the back is you’re just going to be looking at thousand of raised phones and heads depending on your height. But you’ll be right in the action and the atmosphere will be amazing (I think even more so given they’ve scrapped the floor seats tbh).
-
If you can get the front right/left tickets, you’re going to struggle to have a bad time/view there I think. It’s the GA standing where you could end up quite far back and struggling to see.
-
Aye. It’s potentially the most in demand tour of all time; some people will miss out on tickets and it’s going to cost you a bob or two to get in. Given the insane demand, the prices and accessibility today was reasonable. I’m not saying we should be applauding Taylor/her management company for the pricing, but I also don’t think it’s egregious either. I expected much worse.

There’s a majorly negative article on the grauniad about this pre sale, which to me just seems really off with the reality of how today went. The ticket prices were surprisingly reasonable, aside from the AXS IP issue the whole system worked about as seamlessly as you can hope with the demand and plenty of fans either got tickets, or very likely will over the next few days, no surge pricing, the fees were standard and it seems the vast majority of tickets purchased were by actual fans. Not too sure where they’re getting this idea that it’s been a disaster of a day…even the tickets on resale sites will (I reckon) be cancelled given the T&Cs. Feels like they wanted to make a point on this before it actually happened and didn’t fancy changing the article.
-
Just a potential PSA - it looks as though my code would allow me to buy 4 more tickets, taking me to 6, despite the repeated warnings about 4 per household. I suspect the code will be valid all week and won’t deactivate per se, but if you do order more than 4 they will likely cancel some/all your tickets as per the warnings.
-
Yeah I just checked there and there's still GA standing tickets going as well. Half tempted but the hotels are way too expensive
-
I just bunged my code in again on TM and it let me get through and add two tickets, to take me up to 4 total. I knew this would be the case based on the very specific wording of the FAQ but people on reddit were having none of it and arguing me down 😅
