In took my daughter at 6 weeks old in 2019, only for the Sunday though. i had her in a sling and carried her, baby facilities in the kids field were amazing and I sat with lots of other breastfeeding mums in a nice quiet dark tent at the back of the field. However, it was very hot during some parts of the day and I freaked out when walking in the crowds with her. i think with careful planning ( ie staying away from the crowds as much as possible), having a nice comfy sling or carrier for baby and the option to leave site and stay in a nice hotel for Mum and baby, you will be absolutely fine. You can also get cute little ear defenders for newborns with have a soft material bands so they don’t squash babies head and are nice and comfy. As others have said it’s probably the easiest age to take a child. Also, you could book Ashcombe festival parking, which is about 20 min walk for gate d… at least you’ll know where you’ll be parked everyday and won’t end up in the furthest car park away.

Not wristbanding as such… but we were stewards for Oxfam last year on the main vehicle gate where all the artists come in and out…! Scanned a fair few going out.

I’m with HSBC and authenticated through the app… I kept my phone with my HSBC app on free and next to me, ready to go.

I had a timer ticking down when I was going through the authentication… so who knows

I had to approve payment in my banking app… they held the tickets for 5 mins I think? I made sure the phone my banking app is on was free and not being used for tickets

I’ve taken my 2 oldest girls from the ages of 3 and 5 ( oldest is 14 this year) and we literally had the best time… oldest daughter has been up on stage with dynamo twice and basil brush twice in the kidz field. youngest daughter we took at 6 weeks old but only for the Sunday and I did find that a bit stressful, but had an amazing time with the older ones. I would definitely recommend taking children. This year will be the first time without the kids as we are volunteering and I’m not sure how I feel about it, looking forward to having some more adult time but I’ll most definitely miss the kidz field.

Have see confirmed that the ticket is cancelled and have you received refund? Im Just wondering if your reference number for the camper ticket booking is different to the reference number for your actual ticket booking? If that makes sense. im not sure though as last time I purchased camper was 2015. I Really hope you get it sorted ASAP, I can image you’re feeling very stressed… as others have said it will most definitely get sorted if they have cancelled it by mistake. xx

I have done this a few times with my children, but had them collected on the Friday rather then delivered. got the shuttle bus from gate a, met family at bath and west, handed over Children, got back on shuttle bus, was back in the festival within about 45 mins.! very quick and easy each time but it was on Friday pm, so no queuing etc. I Might add, this was pre camper vans at B/W, so not sure what queuing for shuttle bus is like now.. but I’m sure still an easy process.!
