Any details on the setting to change on your mac?

This is what the message reads...

    MAC OS:

    - Open the terminal app

-Type sudo nano/etc/hosts then hit return.

-You'll be asked for your password. Enter your admin password.

    - Add this line at the bottom of the file:

    167.98.233.90

    glastonbury.seetickets.com

    - Press ctrl-O, the letter not number, and then enter to save the file.

    - Press CTRL-X to exit nano.

    - Restart your browser and go to glastonbury.seetickets.com

    - Notes to copy and paste

    sudo nano/etc/hosts

The numbers below will be changed to what is advised later.

To me its mainly jibberish, but he got through 7 times using this.

WOW. This coupled with what i've just received on WhatsApp regarding changing settings on your Mac to get through to the page is making this sale extremely sketchy. P.S the guy im referencing got through 7 times using the method.

    Never stood a chance

  3. I'm still gonna give it a shot this year, but honestly, this years turnout is the weakest yet since we started going (within my group anyway). There were about 12 of this year out of what used to be a crew of 25+

It's all due to a bunch of factors, like money, work commitments and wanting to try something different next year. We've been every year since 2014, bar 2022, but it seems like this year might be the start of a downward trend in our group's attendance. Suppose it's just the natural course of life – people are settling down, buying homes, and all that jazz.

  4. I had a blast this festival, this was my first since 2019, but one thing I picked up on this year is that it seemed a lot more overcrowded this year in areas, especially in the south east corner. Getting almost very dangerous at points & completely not under control.

Another one was the amount of smart whips going off / balloons being sold seemed to be an epidemic this year. For me killed the vibe in some areas with some of the shifty people selling in the raves.

Fair enough maybe at the campsite but it just felt like every minute you would hear 2/3 balloons going off.

It may not drop off that dramatically in the immediate future - but I do think that 2020 is probably going to be the peak year for demand. A lot of people seem to have taken note of the 50th anniversary thing, I've seen plenty saying "well I have to be there for the 50th", even people who have never been before. And likewise I've seen a few old timers say that they see it as an appropriate marker to end their tenure (though I suspect many/most of them will change their minds a year from now).

Agreed there, even people that I know were saying the same thing. Closely followed by the "it looked so good on TV this year, did you see ALEX?!".

Social media in general + coverage this year / viral clips I think have massively boosted the demand this year.

  6. I didn't get tickets for the first time in 5 years, out of around 60 people I know who try / have been every year only 5 got tickets.

me and my mates are thinking going to the US for 10 days or Ibiza for 5 / EU festival.

I still don't think its proper hit me that I'm not going yet, don't wanna put myself through the misery of thinking i'll get them in the resale so might just cut my losses now and prepare for 2021 ?

  7. Can't lie, Glasto'19 has finished I've been preparing myself for not getting tickets this year and up until now I've felt fine.

Now absoloutely shitting it at the thought of not getting the tickets ? 32 of us trying and we've all got each others codes so fingers crossed, and good luck to everyone trying!!!

This is like when people say they're packing in Facebook and Twitter and are back posting 48 hours later.

You'll all be sweating like Josef Fritzl on MTV Cribs come T-Day in October, you fucking crowd of drama queens.

Uncontrollably laughing at my desk right now, fuckin hell ?

  9. I thought Silver Hayes was decent this year,

Sonic had massive improvements, WoW stage expanded and speakers seemed a lot louder and thought they had quite a diverse line up which represented the current UK music scene quite well at the moment.

Although saying that Gully Blues sound system didn't seem as good this year.

  10. Not quite sure what I mean by this but now that its over and its the interlude period till the dreaded T day, I feel like I've got a massive Glastonbury shaped hole in my life ?

Anybody else feel the same? like theres no weather speculation / or speculation at all atm, just kind of like a dead zone o.O

As well, since trying for Glastonbury tickets like 5 years ago I've always got them relatively easily, but I've now got the fear this year of not potentially returning to the farm next year (post glasto depression probably not helping with this, mind) ?

How much did they charge for cans of mixer? We were paying up to £2.50 at some bars so must have been cheaper than that? Would have liked to stock up a bit but there was no way we were trekking out of our way in that heat so just didn't bother to find it.

Paid £26.40 for like a pack of 24 at the co op  which in reflection now actually feels likea bargain in hindsight

  12. Yes, all worth it.

It dawned on me on sat on the hill at like 6:30 on the Monday Morning that you never really know when your last time here will be as nothing is ever promised (luckily, i've been succesful the last 5 times) but I've got a bad feeling about next year! I feel like this year's Glasto has got so much good coverage this year that a lot of people are going to be wanting their hands on tickets come this October!

  13. Visually taken and sonically taken back by the stage when I first laid eyes on it.. was genuinely overwhelmed by how engulfing it felt when head on with it in the center stage, however,  I never really caught the vibe there as the music was very minimalist / progressive. I prefer more up beat music you can groove to, this felt like more of a place to just subtlety head bop.

    Potential is there though.
