I’d love a Homecoming style The National day, where they curate it like they did for their own festival

Complete guess and speculation, but I could see something like: Friday - Fred again saturday - Sam smith (would hope a good tent headliner if this happened) sunday - the national

Do we think more will be added to The National day? They’re one of my favourite bands but did see them at Primavera…would like the day to be more before buying potentially a VIP ticket

Any of you tested positive for covid since coming back? One of our group have, I don’t feel a million dollars either

How was the front VIP section during the main acts? Was there for a bit during joey badass and thought it was actually pretty good.

So vip holder in peace. Bars being so busy is absolutely crazy. People doing large orders whilst they were there to stock up isn’t helping. Everyone keeping cups is daft, just do an exchange having people pre pour drinks. Missed quite a bit of SVE in a bar queue. The crowd was rammed during tame impala. However…back of VIP was wicked, with minimal queues. Also really enjoyed the vibe dog Fred Again on cupra. it’s oversold by 10-15% with not enough staff either. Bad combination. But, still enjoyed night 1. Night 2 will be camped in Mordor

Front VIP is great IMO.

In the check in queue for vueling at Gatwick. About 25 mins from back to the front, and it’s shorter than when I joined 👍

Struggling with my MH last few days and anxiety ruining pre festival excitement. Fainted on Saturday night when going for a mid sleep wee, and so worried to be away from my wife for a few days, and also worried with lack of water facilities at the grounds combined with hot weather will cause it again. Also getting concerned about Gatwick and Vueling. Suffering from plantar fasciitis too so this could be a tough few days Really hoping I can relax and enjoy the festival that I’ve been excited about for two years, feeling a bit sh1t 😞

Probably the act I’m most excited to see. Yes they’re probably a 00s nostalgia act, but I was 15 when Is This It came out and I haven’t seen them since 2011. I’d be really gutted

That Wet Leg/Fontaines new full on clash is gutting. Had been ready to watch first half of Wet Leg before seeing whole of Fontaines. Would have loved the Gorillaz/Idles clash to have been fixed too, but ah well

Predicted arcade fire timeline: - announce tour (done, 06/05) - tickets on sale (13/05) to let fans buy them - oh and weirdly the following week, the Primavera timetable is out with arcade fire being added so fans who already have bought tickets see them twice in the same year

Where has the prime minister been these last two months?!? He made a statement on Afghanistan and that’s it? i know that parliament is in recess, but he can still lead the country can’t he? Am I alone in thinking it feels like a rudderless ship with again nobody telling us what the plan is over the coming months?
