  1. Is anyone else still waiting for their eticket to show up? I just assumed i'd received it till I went to print it today and noticed I had the receipt email saying they'd send it nearer the time but it hasn't shown up. I've emailed the ticket address with the receipt, are they usually on the ball at replying from anyone's experience?  I'm not actually leaving till the Thursday though I've still got a slight panic on!

  2. I feel my mad dash to buy wellies on Sunday may of somehow appeased the weather gods, despite having new wellies the prospect of not wearing them is cheering me up greatly!

Not posted on this thread before but been following closely. Thanks for the hard work and entertainment guys, it's been emotional!

If you bought your ticket recently it will be at the Roundhouse for you to collect. There's a customer service link on your confirmation email where you can enter in your order number and check.

Yep same happened to me, I ordered last Friday and selected delivery though luckily checked the status and they'd changed it from 'despatching' to 'collect from venue' without saying.

  4. Another vote for Saturday JP headliner. As someone earlier said about Latitude, I caught them there too they were brilliant!

  5. Mat Osman has tweeted saying he thinks they're playing in a tent.

Excellent ta, that'd be better for me anyway. I just hope they stay Saturday and don't get too clashy with The Foo Fighters.

  6. Have you get any idea at all about what day/slot Suede are likely to get?

People were saying Friday originally, though now the talk is mostly Saturday Other. I'd of preferred JP later on, they're one of those bands I can't imagine seeing in daylight.

  7. Leave that line-up alone I'll take it!!

As others have said and you'll hear all the time, there is so much more there. I fill in a clashfinder every year and only see about half of bands planned! Lots of places to wander past and catch people, small places like the introducing tent up in park, seen some real gems there.

  8. This but with Suede on the Saturday, I beg the powers that be to put suede on the Saturday

That is my biggest concern too, I'm so hoping they're Saturday clashing with Kanye!

  9. In 2007 we packed the car in the afternoon and left after The Who had played the last note, though I wasn't feeling it as I was absolutely piss wet through. The booking doesn't seem to bring anything new to the table as others have said, though doing something with Quadrophenia I'd love though. The french angle sounds like it could get messy.

  10. I was three back from the barrier at the 2009 Hyde Park gig and it was extraordinary.

To be honest, I hardly ever listen to Blur these days, but I'll never forget that gig.

I was to the left of the mixing desk I think, maybe the front section was a more 'blur' crowd. I always pick the wrong places to stand!

  11. 2009 Hyde Park was unbelievable.

2012 Hyde park was awful. Any gig that starts with a field of people singing the national anthem while watching madness ride around on a bus at the Olympic stadium is onto a stinker.

Maybe you were in a different part of the field to me in 2009 but I hated it. I had seen Blur at Glastonbury the week before though which maybe spoilt me. I thought the crowd was dire, no one seemed to be that fussed and there was too much 'attitude' and the number of cups that hit me on the head I honestly lost count.

Being a big fan i'm silently hoping they play this year as I can't put myself through a hyde park ordeal again!

  12. In 2013 we stayed in Travel Lodge Glastonbury on the Tuesday. Was About £75 per room. We left about 6:30 am and was parked on site about 7:15am.

Best bit is we had the evening before to go explore Pilton and go up to the Tor. Was a nice vibe in the village pubs as you can imagine and a lovely way to start the festival

We did the same 2013, think it was the premier inn we stayed in, newly opened then. As you did it was good to get most of the journey and explore. We got there early afternoon so had a good chance to look round shops and have a wander up the Tor. Having been to the festival a few times it has always been an in and out exercise just passing the local area by every time. Probably wouldn't do it all the time but as a one-off it was perfect.

We just left the hotel about about 6:30 and were in the queue and in the car park by 7ish I think.
