It's not going to be a 6.45 tweet. @eFestivals has already indicated that
What did he say?

I'm back. Any updates since 2pm? Wasn't 2:30 then...

What if it's just before? Would that be worse or better?
Oh god that would be tough, what if I couldn't read all the names before I have to go in?! I hope it comes out during or just after so I can quickly forget about how badly the exam went
-
Exam 2:30-4:30. Tell me it won't be then.

Sat in a lecture making absolutely 0 notes, can't stop refreshing. Although writing this is making it look like I'm really taking it all in

Not trying to go off topic but what is Neil's opinion of Frank Turner?

Neh. If I had to choose between the two it'd 100% be The Bends.
If both are an option, even better
But I'm expecting Michael Eavis to come on and say what the man says at the end of the video and in the best Pyramid moment ever thousands of people instantly lie down in a field along with thousands across the nation watching at home. Come Monday they will still refuse to get up.

I am not happy with the lack of Just in these setlists...Would surely be one of the best songs for the 'casual' pyramid crowd

The problem with 2016 was the type of mud that developed over the weekend. Because the ground was so waterlogged on wednesday when people arrived they just churned a horrendous amount of the stuff up. Then the drier weather dried it out to a thick sticky mess. By other stage it was ankle deep and very very sticky by sunday making walking anywhere an absolute pain.

Just watching this and assumed some people on here were there. Looks incredible!

What do we think the chances of them opening with Just are? Would set a tone for the rest of the gig and keep the doubters there for most of it I think

I'd still keep Plan A as an option if they don't come round by June.
I'll let them know that I'll be jumping down the front if they're there or not.

I've calmed down now Have you tried Paranoid Android? That's quite a good gateway song towards their more avant garde stuff.
I have a similar reaction when they say it don't worry! I think this is going to be my best bet, they did say they liked Idioteque as well so I don't its just that they'll never like it, there is hope for them yet

Just realised, you were probably looking for 2 or 3 songs to play them, not a running order of albums. I'm afraid lists are somewhat in the blood of this place
Yep songs were preferable but albums are still useful! They have definitely enjoyed the bits of the Bends I played them, songs like high and dry, just etc. But if I try and give them something like myxomatosis (the song, not the condition) its back to the classic 'depressing sound' criticism.
Edit: 9. Pablo Honey

As a new watcher of this thread since getting into Radiohead after their announcement I would like to say hello. I have Michael and Emily to thank for making me listen to them properly as I had always struggled to have the determination to dig into their albums. Do you guys think that they are particularly hard to 'get into' compared to other bands?
Also need some help convincing my friends, that are also coming in June, that it will be awesome. Any tips from you guys who have had to convert some doubters?

was he a success? he was panned, mocked and ridiculed from all angles. Even by his fans!
That being said, I enjoyed it.
Yes, I guess what I mean by success is that I feel most people who were there enjoyed it and like me were pleasantly surprised

And look at the shitstorm Kanye's booking caused. Eminem's would be much worse, petitions all over the shop. I doubt the Eavii want the hassle.
But after all the 'shitstorm' he was overall a success. But I guess he would create a worse reaction than Kanye

No chance.
He'd ask for too much, he isn't exactly "Glastonbury friendly" and he's shit live.
Is that not what we said about Kanye?
-
Is eminem impossible? Said he was "working on a new album" on his twitter
-
I'm just going to throw Eminem in the mix and see what happens
