  1. Black Widow is out this week - is anyone actually going to pay for it via Disney+? On the fence here, on one hand I want to see it, on the other I don't really want to pay and apparently it'll just be on regular Disney+ in October. Think I'll probably wait.
  2. Just be aware that the shops might not be selling booze, many of them weren't before or after Germany. Might be safe to get your cans before you get on the tube.
  3. Dunno about "affording it", the credit card takes most of the punishment. Thing is though, I'll pay for stuff as a one off. Like I say, unless England ever get to host again I'll probably not get many more chances to go to tournaments abroad now I have a young family. Went to loads of stuff when the Olympics were in London as I knew I'd never get another chance to go. Paid £200 a for ticket to see Usain Bolt win gold in the stadium which was incredible to see.
  4. No arguments there, just trying to justify it to myself. The cost of these two matches would pay for a season ticket at West Brom (you can make your own joke there).
  5. I justify the ridiculous prices in three ways: Realistically I'm never going to have the opportunity to go to the semi and final of a major tournament again, whether England are there or not; I live in London, so no travel or accommodation expenses; I haven't been to any gigs, festivals or football matches for over a year now so why not?
  6. Nah, I’ve just flashed my phone at them twice and nobody has said anything. Nobody has asked for ID either.
  7. It’s like when they let Dougal do a funeral in Father Ted.
  8. I might go to the final as Soccer Moses.
  9. James Arthur's shit music has destroyed the planet.
  10. Can we just take a minute out from the Euros to acknowledge Soccer Moses please?
  11. This tournament has become our Glastonbury.
  12. I mean you can't go in stone cold sober. Need to settle the nerves a bit.
  13. Three or four is about right. Enough to get a light buzz and loosen up your vocal chords, but not so much that you're too lairy and are getting up every few minutes for a wee.
  14. Yeah my mate and I got a bit carried away before Scotland (we found ourselves in a pub with a load of Scottish fans) and got absolutely plastered beforehand, can't remember most of the match (although that's not necessarily a bad thing). For Germany we just had a couple of pints in the pub beforehand and a pint when we got inside, nothing heavier than that and it was much more enjoyable experience for it.
  15. Me and my mates are planning to not bother with the pub beforehand. Grab a few cans and soak up the atmosphere on Wembley Way.
  16. Exactly, we're at home, we'll be expected to dominate possession, we're better than them. This is one for our own game. That said, Southgate has earnt the right to put out whatever team he sees fit without question now.
  17. Just had my final ticket through... Block 538 so up behind the goal... but second row so should be a perfect view of Harry lifting the trophy.
  18. I think go same as. Southgate tends to go three at the back for the teams who pose more of a threat and four when we're expected to have more of the ball. I expect Wednesday to be the latter and realistically nobody from that side deserves dropping.
  19. Fact of the day… both keepers on Wednesday, Pickford and Schmeichel, made their senior football debuts whilst on loan at Darlington.
  20. Liv Tyler was in the Hulk. The Hulk is Green. Green Fields. Macca has just self confirmed.
  21. “One more person asks about the release date and these hounds are released.”
  22. To be honest just being there is enough.
  23. And yet this was Cat 2 for Scotland…
  24. Seems like it’s done at random now. This was Cat 2 for Germany…
