  1. Alvvays are on Sunday - dates in Belgium and Luxembourg the other two
  2. Not a major one by any stretch but had really convinced myself Belle and Sebastian were going to be there as a treat in the sun but guess there's not really a right slot for them any more.
  3. Actually quite like the line up (Woodsies, Park, WH especially seem as strong as youd get this year) probably just missing the kind of special bookings you expect. as well as pulp, gutted Jai Paul isn't on there

    The Killers

Absolutely nothing behind it, but surely they'll just do the smaller Hot Fuss shows in that week gap between the arena ones? Sure it'll make people angry because they'd rather just see that, but people will be keen enough to pay. Seeing as half the band just like cashing the cheque (fair play) surely they won't be going back and forth. Wonder if like those TRNSMT and Garage ones after Wembley they'll just be last minute announcements, rather than an anniversary tour.
  5. Too much to say that's Alvvays ruled out? Surely going into Europe and back for the Sunday is just wishful thinking https://twitter.com/alvvaysband/status/1734531517462790210?t=L3GQKMjVnf7BQezZYSJjxg&s=19
  6. Jai Paul announced on the LCD day at All Points East so clearly that Primavera exclusive doesn't apply to the UK - now to hope he's not confirmed as a UK exclusive there https://www.instagram.com/p/C0TfvW7IXiW/?igshid=NTYzOWQzNmJjMA==
  7. Just as she's popped up on a couple of predictions, I've seen Angel Olsen keeps referring to her upcoming tour in America as her last shows for a long while. Big shame, it would have been great
  8. Was thinking about it too, but DCFC played the Albert Hall last year and not sure the Postal Service is that big of a deal to push them so much bigger? But yet I don't care about DCFC but will be wherever Postal Service play so maybe I'm proving myself wrong
  9. seem to remember before LCD definitely flew back and forth during a summer so wouldn't read loads into it. I remember in 2022 The National interrupted their American tour to do APE and a Manchester show too
  10. Also just announced with LCD Soundsystem in Dublin on June 26th which isn't on there
  11. Wonder if Lorde will be back with a new album by the time it comes around? The new songs at Boardmasters weren't from an album apparently and wiped her Instagram — she says nothing imminent but by next summer maybe?
  12. Based just off playing Coachella for the promoters in 2019 and the fact they obviously don't care about selling out... Sufjan as a West Stage headliner? more realistically given past form LCD Soundsystem, probably
  13. Agree with everyone else that sound for Strokes didn't help but that wasn't the only issue, just felt oddly paced and never got going. The hits came across well so guess in hindsight I'll look back and think it was fine, and a band I'd wanted to see ticked off. Walkmen and YYYs great, Angel Olsen fantastic (even without Shut Up Kiss Me!)
  14. Tier 1 and Tier 2 is just release of tickets, so earlier you get them there might be a slight discount On VIP, the garden is behind the stage and is just an area with bars and other food - there's no benefit inside the actual festival. You'll need the pit for the East stage to get a better view. Also worth saying that YYYs are on the West stage and theres no VIP pit there. Dont think it's worth doubling the price personally, but I've only been on quiet days so far so might have a different opinion after going on Friday.
  15. think it's always been the case that most bars do cans but then there's a couple with massive queues that have taps etc not ideal but also I've been every year and can't remember ever joining a queue for a drink
  16. Not sure if this one has been flagged, but as well as the NHS site Haim/Dermot Kennedy/Jungle tickets are available from https://bluelighttickets.co.uk/category/music Opens up the freebies to anyone working in emergency services
  17. Angel Olsen V The Walkmen is a bit of a killer of an overlap considering I'm not bothered about anyone in between them and YYYs. Guess I'll probably do all of Angel and see the Walkmen at Koko if I'm feeling shortchanged, but still a bit gutted
  18. a bit worried now the opposite has happened to me. I was able to 'claim tickets' but never actually went through to AXS - have sent them a message so hopefully it shows up somewhere maybe got my hopes up too soon!
  19. As if the crypto partnership wasn't bad enough, this year they're going through Ladbrokes to shift tickets - https://www.ladbrokeslive.co.uk/ they're the only festival on there at present. I've just won Strokes tickets on the first go although then the site broke while redeeming so we'll see if they show up. Would imagine the random draw for some days won't be very random...
  20. Must just be a rough year, don’t see how a festival with Stormzy and The Strokes (considering they sold it out 4 years ago) could be seen as downsizing. who knows why they persist with the two weekends rather than trying to beef up 3/4 days – that crypto money must be good because how it even breaks is beyond me
  21. Don’t know if there’s ever been clues before in these teasers .. but I’m going to read into the Green Light
  22. The Walkmen announcing two dates in London on the 26+27th, surely they’ll be added to this next time once those have sold out
  23. Jamie XX in 2021 was definitely tiered pricing too, not sure it was a particularly big change between prices though.
  24. Wonder what the reaction will be at Ally Pally when Taylor comes out for a couple? All done with the US tour, if she’s still living in London surely going to happen
  25. Surprised they’re doing Leeds Arena again, wasnt half full and felt too big last time, but works for me. RIP those two Brixton shows in 2020/21. they were too good to be true.
