  1. Yeah, definitely. But it seems that no headliner today.
  2. First name today: Megan Thee Stallion on Friday, Main Stage.
  3. Yeah, Tyler is doing Orange Warsaw Festival which is held by Open'er organisers. The problem is that he is the only act and the festival takes place first weekend of June what makes people doubtful about it... As for ASAP, he was one of the first artists announced for 2020 and 2021 editions, so it's quite strange he's not there yet for this year.
  4. Out of 3 headliners, two are from US, so don't really think that's the reason.
  5. Yeah, but I guess he's nothing more than a co-headliner when it comes to Open'er; he would be a good replacement for ASAP Rocky, who was supposed to play along 21 Pilots on Thursday. That still leaves us with one spot for a headliner and one spot for a co-headliner.
  6. Announced today for Tempelhof in Berlin, available the entire Open'er week, played Open'er and Orange Warsaw Festival (the same organiser) before, very popular in Poland. And also apart from QOTSA and maybe The Killers (but only for Wednesday), it's hard to find someone who can fill the headliner or co-headliner spot, unless we're waiting for someone with no dates yet (The Weeknd, Kendrick?). However, it's quite unusual that we still don't have any rap names. That's why it wouldn't surprise me if it's gonna be ASAP Rocky or J. Cole tomorrow.
  7. Yeah, unfortunately that's very likely. Still hoping for QOTSA though. Regarding second line names, I think we can expect some of these: Polo G, Modest Mouse, Glass Animals, Leon Bridges, Tom Misch, Little Simz, Foals, Black Pumas, Arlo Parks, Pheobe Bridgers, Jorja Smith, Charli XCX, Kacey Musgraves. Would love to see Fontaines DC, Turnstile, and The War On Drugs, but these are rather unlikely due to their schedules.
  8. Full line-up in January? No way, not here ;). But to be fair, it should be something big, as the last time they announced announcements was 2 years ago, if I remember correctly.
  9. In fact, I was hoping someone from here would listen to it since I couldn't 😉
  10. If anyone's interested, ESNS conference has just started and today they're going to talk about 2022 festival season: https://esns.nl/conference/festival-season-2022/2022-01-19/13:00
  11. The festival director says we're getting some new names this month (also he's confident the festival will go ahead): https://rozrywka.trojmiasto.pl/Opener-Mystic-Soundrive-najwieksze-festiwale-w-Trojmiescie-Czy-sie-odbeda-n163240.html
  12. 2nd July is the only day where we still need a headliner. The Cure were supposed to play that day in 2020, but they already have 2 shows announced in Poland. I think FATM are now more a co-headline material than a solo headliner, especially for Saturday, where we had some big acts the last couple of years (The Cure, Bruno Mars, Lana Del Rey - SMH co-headline).
  13. It is definitely not too soon and I guess FATM co-headlining with Imagine Dragons is quite possible.
  14. Thanks for the update! Can you share what is the general attitude towards festival season in the industry right now? Is it much better than last year?
  15. Have you checked OFF Festival or Fest Festival? Apart from Opener, I'm planning to do them both as well. Not much announced so far, but there are some nice names. I still think that Opener will bring a nice poster, maybe not that strong in terms of headliners like Mad Cool or Werchter, but with a very good undercard. But I get that their announcement 'strategy' may be very irritating.
  16. It's rather always one headliner and one strong sub. Can't remember anything similar to Dua / Muse (in terms of popularity). Sure, we almost had The Killers / The Cure / The Chemical Brothers in 2020, but it didn't finally happen. If we're talking about big names, there's still place for one headliner (Saturday) and two co-headliners (Wednesday and Thursday). What's still possible? QOTSA, The Killers, ASAP, Kendrick (if he changes his plans once again), Tame Impala, Stormzy. What surprises me is that we still dont have a single rap name. It has to change quickly, especially if you take a look on past line-ups and see that with each year we had more and more hip hop acts. Opener is quite well known for being one of the slowest festivals in terms of announcements, so it is totally normal for them to leave things till February or even longer. Headliners being announced in April/May? Used to happen a few times before.
  17. There's Dua Lipa already on Friday, so no, no chance. I guess we won't be getting any announcements until mid-February. January was always rather quiet for them and with the current situation around COVID-19 (we have a lot of deaths in Poland every day) they will probably wait when it calms down a little.
  18. Are 4-days tickets already sold-out? Also, what is the best way to buy tickets, if you're from abroad (EU-based)?
  19. Also, let's remember that there were festivals in some countries in 2021, when vaccination numbers were much lower that now (let alone summer 2022). I think the only real problem is indeed big acts with a lot of staff and huge production costs pulling out due to uncertainty in winter, when they probably have to make some decisions. And the question is how big festivals (like RW or Roskilde) will handle it.
  20. Yeah, the headliners are weak so far, but at least 3 big names are still missing. The undercard is quite strong tough. Alter Stage looks good.
  21. Based on their recent IG stories and that it is almost one month since last announcements, I'd bet on next week.
  22. I'm not even sure if Stones and Boss are going to include Poland in their tour next year, let alone Opener. Kendrick is possible though.
  23. Good spot! The official announcement is coming at 7pm today. Hopefully, it will be in line with this article.
