  1. Not a huge surprise but Daniel Avery confirmed for the Far Out on Twitter by Green Man
  2. Headliners slightly underwhelming for me but plenty on the poster to get excited about. Delving into the playlist at the moment and finding plenty already I want to get more into I'm taking a stab at Spiritualized being the Thursday headliner and it seems as if they're sticking with the Mountain headliner on the Thursday too which is great. Onto another couple of months of headliner speculation
  3. They replied to someone saying American Football saying it's more specific to the location....
  4. Could Orbital be a Far Out headliner ala Bicep last year? Seems they've headlined enough Festivals to be a headliner so not saying wouldn't headline but that Bicep slot went down really well last year so could see them carrying on with it
  5. An updated spotify playlist you say? Do you have a link?
  6. Some cracking additions on there, very happy with Alvvays was hoping to catch them this summer
  7. Looks like Yeah Yeah Yeahs are out then, apparently not getting to Europe until 25th August for their tour! Lorde apparently doing Paredes but just can't see her turning up her but would be a huge get for GM
  8. Feel like Yeah Yeah Yeahs have been one of the reasons for holding it back, I reckon 1st March is when an Embargo with APE might be lifted and they can be announced. As said before they've had the luxury of GM being sold out since September so they don't need to rush it out and would want to get as much as the line up out as possible. As long as New Order were better than they were at Glastonbury 2015 I'm down (shouldn't be hard)

Yard Act said on Facebook that they won't be clashing with Pulp. End as Pulp start kind of thing
  10. Another reply on Twitter saying "It's brewing" taking their sweet time with this one
  11. Sleaford Mods and Amyl announced for a festival called Cabaret Vert in France the same weekend! Both playing the Thursday along with Overmono, Bob Vylan and Ditz
  12. Saturday 2019 was one of my favorite days at the festival, spent most of the day there seeing Squid, Pip Blom, Fontaines, Sports Team, Snapped Ankles then heading over for Jungle at WH back fir Shame then Hot Chip to end the day! Was the hottest I think I've ever been but still a brilliant day and others have said it's a great place for up and coming bands so a shame to see it's going!
  13. Seen on Facebook they've added a Wednesday show for Ally Pally
  14. What's the thought's behind us getting an announcement soon? I know they don't particularly need to be in a massive rush as it's sold out, going on past years I'm hoping Thursday next week
  15. Think they're only doing that one show at Just Like Heaven festival. Seen they're due an album this year though so could be a goer for a regular show
  16. Sure I seen someone say in another thread that LCD Soundsystem weren't doing anything this year in the UK but will be back in 2024
  17. Heard it all now, AM opening or headlining the Other hahahaha. Anyway, had some good info for Arctics Williams Green Thursday after Pulp
  18. Crack Cloud played in 2021, not sure they'd be back so quick. Would we say Osees are Far Out Headline size?
  19. Some exciting names starting to appear, Protomartyr are one of my all-time favourites so that is very encouraging! Walled Garden headline slot, please and thanks.
  20. Never realised this was only up the road from me after seeing recent line ups released and thinking they were decent. That line up is right up my street so think me and my pal will be trying this out next year. Think it's cracking value for money.
  21. This is true with Self-Esteem, maybe we might see some new music which could help the cause for her taking a top slot. I don't think Wet Leg will play either tbh, think they'll be snatched up on a Live Nation type contract to only do their festivals. Don't think Idles would be too full-on, headlined the Far Out in 2019 which went down very well against Father John Misty and 2 albums since last playing. Would love Suede and could see them being booked but I wonder if they could play the Thursday? especially if they carry on with having the Mountain Stage open on the Thursday
  22. Was in my thinking and would be amazing but wondering if she might have grown too much to headline green man. Self Esteem seem like a solid bet tbf, the way her tours sold, 6 music favourite and with a Mercury nomination as well I think she's more than big enough. Subbed Far Out in '21 so nice climb there
  23. Nice shout and I don't think they're too big but can't see them being active. Sleaford Mods maybe? Most likely will have a new album next year. Feel they might go for an electronic artist again but that isn't really my area of expertise. Hot Chip return? Is Roisin Murphy big enough?
  24. Who do we reckon for a British headliner next year then? I'm putting all my eggs in the Yeah Yeah Yeahs basket, could also see Sigur Ros but depends on if they're active end of next summer in Europe but British headliner-wise I'm struggling Can see your likes of Sorry, Hotel Lux, Gently Tender and Just Mustard taking slots too.
  25. They'll be a few more added to Finsbury but won't be like Sam Fender. See Tickets have doors at 16.00
