  1. Basically - the only tents worth talking about are the F&B range from Decathlon. They come in different sizes and types so take a look at their website to figure out what best suits you. Or better yet pop down your nearest store (ideally one of the big retail park ones rather than a town centre one or an ASDA concession) as they should have a few on display by now.

(the song is incorrectly identified, but it still works).
  4. I'd bet a very large sum of money that's because the person decided it wasn't worth the sh*t they were (probably) getting, rather than eBay removing it.
  5. Realistically - zero percent chance. It's a bit of a d*ck move, but that in itself isn't against their policies.
  6. I mean f**k, there's at least a couple of 90s albums I have Japanese CDs of (usually in addition to the UK release) because they always used had a couple of extra tracks on them.
  7. Yeah, the chances are so small and for the effort involved that it's not even worth looking until at minimum the middle of next week. More likely some point after the cancellation deadline on May 3rd is when they'll drop a load at once.
  8. As soon as you think you've got a pattern, that's when it changes. Loads of people were predicting the main poster would drop on a Friday this year, because that what happened the previous few times - so naturally, it didn't.

    Ticket queing

It would, but it would also result in a proportional increase of £9.95 (or £2.75 for Coach) transaction fees.

    Ticket queing

With half of those suggestions being made while the sale is literally ongoing, which tells me all I need to know given they've somehow got time to bugger around with twitter.
  11. After cancelling in 2020? Throwing shade at her for that is certainly an interesting take.
  12. Chillys isn't fully new. They've had a presence on site for a few years - either 2019 or 2022 being the first - and ran a competition last year. But yeah point still stands.
  13. Because there's no demand as it's available free? There's at least two points on site (Railway track near Greenpeace, and about a quarter of the way up Muddy Lane) that piles of free firewood are placed by the festival. Possibly more than two. It used to be that those piles were depleted by about 11am Wednesday, but the last couple years they've lasted until well into the weekend and so with that available I'm not sure why anyone would bother paying.
  14. To be fair, £4 is the "standard" price for a bar of Tony's, even at supermarkets. You can sometimes get them on offer at £2.50 or £3, but Oxfam probably aren't going to do that (especially not competition bars).

And it was also people choosing to take issue with his (arguably clumsy) wording, rather than looking at the actual point he was making.
  16. Yes. I don't mind "hype" competitions, or ones that require a bit of effort - but they shouldn't be exclusionary. And this one is as exclusionary as they come, give that it rules out anyone who can't easily get to central London for an as-yet unspecified amount of time on a weekeday lunchtime/afternoon.
  17. "Just think how colourful your balance sheet will be with all that red ink on it"
  18. Anecdotally, there's been quite a few people suggest that where a departure point has more than one time, resale tickets are more likely to get allocated to the later one.
  19. She's not bigger in letters, and only central / on her own line because the Bar Stewards have a very long name.

Apparently New Model Army say they're the Saturday headliner.

Is that stated somewhere, or an assumption? He doesn't mention either way on his social media.
  22. He will be if it's with the Sleeping Souls. Less sure about placement if it's a solo or a duo show.
  23. I mean, he's not wrong. The cheaper ones (and for that matter some of the more expensive ones) tend to cut corners especially with things like wheels and axles, which are exactly the things that you need to be right if you're taking it on Glastonbury terrain.
