So announced on Wednesday. Ticket sales start Friday?
Yeah

A lot of blurry memories of Radiohead, Justice and Steffi & Virginia churning this out of Genosys about 6am on Sunday morning
One of my favourite ever moments on the farm

Any prospect of the likes of Moderat or The Smile playing? @Mezhyp1
Both have gaps that weekend for the moment.
The dream would be Portishead but I can't see that happening
I wish!
The last co head has been mentioned now

Interesting... Initially thought Bjork, fits the Connect look etc, but she's got no other shows in the UK...
Nothing as adventurous as that
-
You're not miles away, but they've got other UK shows

Any chance of Bloc Party somewhere in the bill @Mezhyp1 ? They’re playing a few festivals this summer but nothing in Scotland so far apart from supporting Paramore at the Hydro
Believe that support slot is their whack
-
Actually still not quite there yet in terms of guessing correctly

Franz and Boygenius it is then?
If they're both playing I don't think they'd be playing on the same day 😉😉

I seen elsewhere that they are supporting Pixies in the US on tour, that would be an ideal top 2 for me, still expecting Pixies to pop up on some festivals
No Pixies unfortunately

Right enough, I probably should've read the thread first. What about King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard as one of the out there co-headliners? Not sure if they're big enough but are headlining End of the Road the week after.
Unfortunately not. That'd be epic

Jamie XX and The Strokes?
Nah

That was another name I was gonna mention
Haha it's cool, assumed Boygenius was correct with the reaction you gave someone else. Anyone else on the Victorious lineup there?
On victorious - there may be a couple of the lesser acts as i genuinely can't remember, but none of the main acts nah

Alt-J as the other co headliner? Popping up on a few fest's around the time, Victorious etc... Quite a few on their lineup that would fit connect tbf
was just going to reply to this with a thumbs down but that could have been interpreted in a couple of ways. no not them
-
It's fairly obvious now who 2 of the headliners are, but there's essentially co-headliners (I say essentially as I don't know how they'll bill it) that have barely had a mention 👍

Probably P.Scream headlining but the others are rumoured to be on the bill. Possibly Yeah Yeah Yeahs the other night since they’re playing London that weekend?
Yeah Yeah Yeahs aren't playing
-
Young Fathers aren't headlining

Summer sessions in Glasgow announced, if bands playing there, ruled out for Connect?
Thinking Glasvegas, Siouxsie and Delgados
Don't know for absolute certain but fairly sure none of them are playing
Bonobo isn't either. That'll be great in the evening sun in Glasgow though

Hoping for an announcement soon, mainly for the sake of the festival. Announcing relatively late compared to other festivals and loads of Summer gigs/tours hurt Connect last year and would be a shame to see it not shift tickets again.
Towards the end of this month I believe was the plan but haven't heard in a couple weeks

Dunno if it's been mentioned but Franz Ferdinand have one gig planned I think for next summer. Reckon they would be welcome back, not played since 09 I think. Love them lots so 🤞
they've got a few shows. definitely playing a Scottish festival in August
