We also got super early bird... £408 for 2 tickets and campervan. I don't want to be one of those moaning people... But I'm unsure about my future with Bearded Theory. I have loved every year I have been, but this year felt different to me. And reading of the original organisers not having a say in this years festival has me worried. The only reason I have bought tickets now is because I know so many people that are going, and it's a great festival to actually hang out with mates. The fact that the capacity was reduced to 8500 from 10000 in 2019, then DHP have come along and increased it to 15000 without changing layout, and increasing toilet facilities etc is just crazy.

I cannot fathom how this would be possible?!

In sadder news though, just got an email to say I can't camp in Tom's field and we are in overflow opposite Mary's Gate. Means packing down and moving to Tom's on the Monday after the festival x

Right guys, I feel daft asking anyone else, but I can't for the life of me remember where the Bandstand is. Anyone help? I've seen many bands there over the years and normally know my way around. I feel ashamed of myself x

I am working it this year, after festival clean up, but I am meeting a friend @Funkyfairy!, and I will be at Gate B at 8am on Wednesday morning to see all of the beautiful happy faces coming through those gates. I can't bloody wait. It is going to be so emotional x

Oh no, I went through the gate before 8am on Wednesday morning feeling pretty tired, hot and miserable. I never wanted to go to the festival and went as a favour to my mate. We never left camp on the Wednesday... Built a fire, had drinks and caught up with mates. On Thursday we went for a look around. We were camped at Upper Webbs Ash, and made it to the cocktails and dreams bar (About 400metres away), and found a bit of shade. I was sat there when a fairy on stilts stuck a peg on my hat (which i still have), I tapped my foot to a 10ft breakdancing grasshopper, and 2 big hairy arsed blokes (and I know they were hairy arsed because their 80's aerobics lycra outfits had no bottom in them) carried an actual roll of carpet across site. It was in that moment that my heart swelled and I fell in love with the randomness.

That's great to know the 2nd one is near JP. I'll be in Toms field this year so that's perfect for us location wise x

The magic teapot was there for the first time in 2019 and I'm pretty sure they have 2 locations this time round. They're open 24/7, tea and coffee for donations, and people just jamming all night. They have piano, guitar etc. It's one of my favourite places at the end of a cold night, roaring fire in the middle and a place to chill and have a sing-a-long.

Oh to be a first timer again! I remember the exact moment I fell in love with the festival. Thursday 24th June 2010 at 10:59am. You guys are in for a real treat. I'm taking Mr CG for the first time and I cannot wait to see Glastonbury through his eyes, as I did with a newbie friend in 2016. This year is going to be extra special too x

I cry happy tears at every festival I go to, and I've been to a few this year already. But honestly, I think as soon as I walk through those gates, I am going to be a blubbering wreck, with snot bubbles too 🤣 It's my last night shift tonight, then I have all of next week to buy and pack ready to head to the farm on Sunday. It's Mr CG's first time and I cannot wait to see his face as he 'gets it!' I don't know of the lotus flower bonfire... Where is it please? And what time? It sounds special.

I have written a list... or rather 2 lists. One is laminated for future reference. The second is also laminated, but is colour coded. Highlighted pink means I have it. Highlighted blue means Mr CG has it, and yellow is still to buy. Luckily the still to buy is all food and drink. I do believe I am winning and it has really put my mind at ease. I'm currently on Nightshifts, and I couldn't sleep today thinking about the damn list 🤣 I have 5 rest days to sort stuff before we head to Glastonbury a week on Sunday.

I haven't been going as long as you lucky bunch, my first being 2010. For 5 years we had loads of free wood next to Lowers Webbs ash, and always had a campfire. I didn't know much about the naughty corner then, our evenings were always spent around camp discussing the days events. I'm pretty sure 2015 was the last time I saw firewood. We bought some logs from over by the Other in 2017, but security were straight to our camp requesting we be careful and put it out properly... 2 minutes before my mate drunkenly sat in it 🙄

You are very welcome @dizzymoo, I quite like the stress of people changing details last minute 🤣 Honestly @deebeedoobee That nasty C word we don't mention floored me last year. I can't say i'm out of practise because I have attended loads since lockdown began, I'm just struggling to stay up late these days. And Night shifts are pants I have decided. I did however get very not dry on the walk home from work this morning! It was glorious sunshine when I came to work, and stair rods when I went home. I shall appease the Gods x

Hey pets. I have a week of nights this week so I have some actual time to pop on here and catch up. I really don't know how I'm going to cope at Glastonbury this year. I have done a small festival every weekend for the last 3, and I am exhausted! I've looked at the line up and instantly dismissing anything after 2am!! When did I get old 🤔🧓 I'm afraid I haven't made any sacrifices lately, the weather at all of the festivals I have been to has been glorious. I shall endeavour to appease the Gods soon.
