  1. More tickets available! https://endoftheroadfestival.com/tickets/
  2. Don't think we should be getting our hopes up too much but we'll see. In past years Big Jeff has known all the secret tipi sets in advance so it's always worth asking him if you see him
  3. Yeah mostly. Black midi did a tipi secret set back in 2018 which was brilliant.
  4. Bdrmm/Loraine James/Keely Forsyth clash is a killer.
  5. Card only at the bars apparently but cash or card at the food vendors
  6. 2019 there was an act in the tipi at that time.
  7. I hope the cinema returns to the lay out it had in 2017 as apposed to 2019's.
  8. Alton Gun, Kikagaku Moya and Stereolab has the makings of a brilliant Thursday line up.
  9. Early afternoon I imagine. Never need to rush for EOTR so will hopefully have a nice big breakfast and then head over.
  10. Don't the acts who play second down on Big Top clash with those who sub the Woods stage? Wouldn't that mean a Dry Cleaning/Little Simz clash?
  11. In my head that makes sense as the running order and meets my dream of Girl Band playing the post-headliner slot.
  12. There's an article about EOTR in the latest Loud and Quiet. In it they list the Big Top like up they they've curated. No set times though.
  13. As an ardent planner and meticulous clashfinder I have to admit I'm not at all fussed that the set times are late this year. Yes, it'd be nice to have them and get to plan but I know which acts I definitely want to see and am just excited at the prospect of being at a festival. The line up is obviously weaker this year and so I imagine the need for intense planning and time management will mostly be suspended.
  14. Yeah those pitch black urinal boxes they have won't be fun at all.
  15. The Big Top needs extra fans. Gets ludicrously hot in there. Amen Dunes' set a few years ago was sweltering.
  16. Nah there's lots who played 2019 on this year's line up which is fine with me but I just can't see them booking acts to play twice, twice.
  17. Squid and Goat Girl did tipi sets in 2019 so won't do this year.
  18. I wonder if Warmduscher will try incite a riot like they did in 2018. If any bands pull out, I'd like to see Legss added to this line up
  19. Any bookies taking bets on Billie yet? Tempted to put a few quid down.
  20. One of the years I attended I was in the midst of a period of very poor mental health and so needed time to myself occasionally away from the slightly more hedonistic side of things. I used to walk around the woods late at night, looking at the art instillations and hanging around the piano stage chatting to strangers. I found that to be a really relaxing break and opportunity to speak to more relaxed (and in some cases I assume sober) people.
  21. Congratulations on the 7 months sober!!!! Whilst I have no knowledge of people being totally abstinent, EOTR has quite a few families and younger attendees during the day and so there's plenty of nice places to get tea, coffee etc. In addition to this parts of the woods have a very relaxed atmosphere and would offer a good break from the more booze heavy parts of the site. The nights do tend to be quite a boozy affair, I tend to notice that people get quite loose (especially at the late night tipi sets) but it's nowhere near on the level of Glastonbury, Boomtown etc. I don't know of specific NA/AA presence at the site but am certain there are people there who also don't drink. Sorry I can't offer more specificity or detail but it's one of the festival's I'd feel most comfortable doing sober.
