  1. Sadly agree. Apart from West Holts, the stages lack personality and decent curation. Too many are acts rebooked, too many beige Radio 2 acts and some baffling site changes. Williams Green is a massive miss.
  2. This. So, despite the pretentious blurb, creatives are expected to work for free in exchange for 'exposure'? Well, exposure don't pay the bills. Many people are getting rich off the back of the festival and artists/ creatives should be paid/ rewarded like anyone else. 0/10
  3. Totally agree with this. A lot of the people saying £330 is value for money cite the cost of seeing big commercial acts which are charging £100's of pounds to their gigs as way of justification. Fair enough if you are the type that pays these kinds of fees and enjoys these kinds of acts. Less so if you aren't at all interested in seeing Spice Girls/ Guns'n'Roses/ Taylot Swift/ etc.
  4. Been going since 1992. I won't be going at this price.
  5. Tried to drop off a kids buggy at the lock ups nearest the kids camping on the Friday and they had no room. Apparently this was the first time this had ever happened at the lock ups. Because kids are free, I wonder if they are accounted for in the official attendance?
  6. Sorry to shatter your hopes, but I've heard of people being approached to assist with a Spice Girls set at Glastonbury. Personally, I think Gary Numan is the man for job.
  7. Lost Horizons Sauna/ Massage etc info
  8. Taking a look at some old pictures of the Pyramid, some bellends seem to think it's OK to put two or three flags on a single pole. There's even one with 5 flags on a single pole. Get rid.
  9. I spend a very large percentage of every festival at Glade/ Spike Bar/ Gully, and so do a lot of the large group I go with. Gully RIP, you will be missed - I really liked the music and the setting...post 2017 (?), not a big fan of the relocation of the JP stage...it makes that area seem too isolated from the rest of the festival. Hope Glade is as good as it has ever been. 🤞
  10. Not on the first poster, but W.H. Lung have confirmed they'll be there.
  11. All hail Ed Sheeran. The new middle-of-the-road celeb-musician that unecessarily pops up absolutely fucking everywhere for no reason.
  12. Queues for the dealers at the Pyramid. Spontaneous litter picks in the crowd before an act started.
  13. Liking it mucho! Another for the must-see list 🙌 The worst thing in the world is finding a band you love and then realising you've missed them at Glastonbury when you could have seen them. Painful stuff. Probably worthy of another thread in itself.
  14. Slowdive would be ace! This sounds like a pretty promising hint from their website: "It’s been over three years since we last played a show and with a few festival appearances lined up we’ve decided what better way to kick things off than keep it reasonably near the South West with a show at the lovely Komedia in Bath on May 18th."
  15. A two hour slot at the Park would be top. They were immense on their last UK tour.

Not a big fan - recent output seems to borrow heavily from Pigs x7 and Slowthai.
