Right then peeps, I received my little package and car parking sticker for disabled access yesterday.
Does anyone else have experience of using the disabled facilities on here?
I am a bit unsure of how it works. I presume that I will enter the yellow car park and then head for a rendezvous point for people with disabled access. Does it take longer to enter the festival this way? Would it be possible for me to enter the festival with my friends, set up and then go to the rendezvous point to get the stuff required for the cut throughs, disabled toilets and facilities on the disabled campsite? Although I am planning to camp with friends, I do wish to use the disabled campsite facilities.
Also if I have to initially go to the rendezvous point, what are the queues like? Do they move quicker than the normal queues?
Sorry for so many questions.
Hi, at the rendezvous point you are given your band for disabled campsite/toilet access. You can then get the shuttle bus to the campsite or walk through the main gate with your pass out.
In 2015 it took just over an hour or so to get through the disabled queue from around 8 am. Our friends who were using the coach gate got through quite a bit quicker. There was no queue in 2016 as our coach arrived later (around 5pm).
I would imagine it would be possible for you to go through the gate as normal and set up your stuff and then get a pass out to the disabled point later in the day when it is quieter if you are worried about queues.

I would have suggested paolo nutini but given that he has no upcoming shows he seems unlikely

Glasgow is usually North Hanover Street bus bays, just opposite Queen Street Station. The departure time has been 11pm on Tuesday in the past.

They must be just about to announce some new shows. If you preordered the album an email was just sent out saying information for early access tickets would be sent out soon.

Seen a couple of people saying they're gonna go watch em: before I check out the album after work, what sort of thing are they? Will I like em? (I realise you don't know me or my tastes, but predict it a bit!)
If you like your frontmen wearing questionable underpants and two loaves of hovis as bracelets then you will have an absolute whale of a time

Pretty sure Steve Lamacq just said"some festival news after this" on 6music? Either that or i have finally gone mad and have started hearing things.

Some more tickets for today have just been made available here:

The Sherlocks have just posted this which appears to by in the same style of the FF posts. If the Sherlocks are involved somehow, presumably supporting, then perhaps the announcement is not about glastonbury after all.

According to an interview with NME here Emily has said TSR are not headlining.

First time trying using my phone - how do you refresh a chrome page on an android phone ? Or should I just let it autorefresh ?
I am unsure if it is the same as refreshing chrome on an iPhone but you can pull the screen down to refresh.

How about QOTSA? Been a while since they headlined the other and with Josh confirming they are about to go into the studio they might be touring at the time.

The mailing list email has just come through and the presale for all venues is at 9.00am tomorrow

When do they usually announce the next year festival as I want to book up hotel ASAP
I think the dates for 2015 were announced pretty soon after 2014 if i remember correctly. I think it was only a few days to a week roughly.
