Right I am a bit confused now. I needed two east general campervan tickets and managed to get them. Obviously in two consecutive transactions. Now I am starting to worry as the conditions (if read in a certain way) suggest that I need to be in both vans, which is obviously nonsense. We will be arriving together so that is surely enough to show that I haven’t sold it on? They wouldn’t have sold me two if I couldn’t use two surely….?

Haven’t tried for a van spec for a few years (2013 the last time) - used to be relatively straightforward to get one on first day of release; that still the case?

Saw Oranj Son on Wednesday. They really are such a good band - they seem to have had big breaks in the past and a few line up changes but this looks like a settled line up. Did all of their new album and a few new songs as well. I’ll be at this in December (might get to the Manchester one as well if I can help the Mrs get the Xmas shopping done).

If Oranj Son aren’t knocking on the door then it will be a surprise. BBC Introducing Merseyside love them and rightly so. A bit enigmatic and below the radar locally but when they do appear live there is a real buzz about them. New album is wonderful.

If she chooses not to then that’s fine, it’s a risk management choice possibly. But it’s still a choice and it should mean she is nowhere near Glastonbury.

This is so far beyond not reading the room it is unbelievable. I was half expecting some sort of dramatic statement from the Festival that put this to bed with a wholly Ukraine-supportive position. Now if she does end up not playing it will look like a forced climb down. They could not have got this any more wrong.

I think that £30K figure has been doing the rounds, but it is clearly nonsense. The figure is something like £35 per household. Extra day off, seems ok to me.
