I guarantee if he's not on the bill, every TBA DJ set will be rumoured to be him. TBA on Arcadia? Fred Again. TBA on Temple? Fred Yet Again.

Is there any atmosphere at IICON close up/ anywhere?
The various times I've been it's either half empty (most of first year) or rammed (Four Tet) and couldn't get close enough to feel involved. Whenever I've been I've always felt like a spectator to the main event, looking into it from outside the bubble, wherever I am in the field.
I'm interested to know if anyone has had a genuinely amazing experience there, deeply involved in the music and crowd etc.
My group had a really good time at IICON, wanted a good spot for Four Tet so got there for Cakes Da Killa onwards, who was really good despite the small crowd - house music with a rapper and a dancer plus the visuals. The AV show they do every night is awesome, would definitely recommend it and we were right at the front for Four Tet. Was feeling quite tired after about 50 mins so sat down at the side and was still really nice taking in all the sound and visuals. Stayed there to the end with a bit more dancing.
Four Tet up there for me in best sets of the weekend.

I think because a lot of people just "go shangri la" after the headliners regardless of who's on, there's a massive amount of people that want to get into that section every evening. Skindred was RAMMED, and I guarantee not 50% of the crowd knew who they were.
Block 9 & The Common areas aren't too bad it's really Shangri-La/Unfairground where the crowds are the worst. My solution is they need to not have large acts on there and essentially just use it as an art exhibit with some relatively unknown but decent DJs playing.
Maybe Acoustic/T&C field could have another tent with bands to spread out the crowd.
Love the metal representation at Glastonbury but needs to move outside of Shangri-La. Maybe a tent by CarHenge area.

Cereal bars at festivals are overrated: discuss
Agreed, last thing I want to do is chew a granola bar after a heavy sesh.
Just stick to liquids until about midday and then get a burger or something.

Razorlight's reggae set?
I mean technically they once did a cover of Englishman in New York at Shrewsbury International Music Festival back in 2004.
-
Generic 90s/00s Indie band probably with a 'The' in their name.
The Kooks? I know they've done a TBA before but they fit the bill.

So headliner run down:
Dua Lipa 100% nailed.
Men with guitars: The 1975/Coldplay/Blur/Foo Fighters.
Another female singer. Maybe Rihanna/Madonna but probably not. 100% not Taylor Swift.
